At quick glance, it appears it bumps him into the national top 330. All but one 89 are 4 stars.

I also believe it depends on if that is solely 247's ranking or his new composite grade. Since they rank by composite it'll be interesting to see if it is enough to get him a fourth star.

Regardless, he was one of our lowest rated commits and just received a huge bump. I am not a stargazer but that is great news!

Love it when a plan starts coming together. The haters are having to reach extra far to continue bashing butch. He hasn't conquered theSEC yet but anyone who works this hard and has recruited and evaluated talent this well since day one is exciting to watch. Short of championships he's done what he promised. Let's hope he either gets it done or has laid a solid foundation for someone else.

The staff is quietly improving, and I think giving some of these coaches a full cycle with their guys before changes wasn't the worst idea. Hopefully we finish with a few more studs.

I've criticized Butch as much as anyone, but I truly hope he succeeds here at Tennessee. He needs to take the next step, grow as a head coach, and win real championships. I do not want to start over and have to go through a coaching search again. I want Butch to be successful, win championships, and be at Tennessee for a long time.
