'17 IN QB Hunter Johnson (Former UT Commit 8/23/15) (Clemson commit)

I'm saying that 9 times out of 10, Saban and other proven coaches will beat him for a recruit with no affiliation to either school. Why? Because Saban has proven to be a winner. Some confidence was lost in Butch after the OU and UF games. Recruits see that and pay attention to it.

This is what we call a deflection. Give us your evidence for your baseless assertions or STFU.

I think he took commits from players early on that he shouldn't have, which is why TD and Okonya had their scholarships pulled. He's doing the same thing he did each of the last few years.

I'm not going to pretend that the last week has been all fine and dandy. Recruiting has slowed, but I think we will end strong, with our average ranking being even higher than it is now as we drop our lower ranked commits and pull in higher rated ones.

I agree. I don't like all of the early commitments, then rescinding the offers.

Sorry I forgot about Peyton committing to Butch back in the 90's....

That was not his point. Point was just because a recruit is a "Legacy" of a school does not mean they will go there, especially when that school is not doing well. Peyton obviously did not go to Ole Miss like his dad due to the state of Ole Miss at time and it would have been just as easy for these guys to do the same.

He also tweeted to not criticize Johnson because it was his decision.

So Dabo is okay with alluring committed recruits to visit but he's not okay with it being his commits.

Time to go after Feaster again.

Careful. If we drop another player to pick up someone like Feaster, Butch is a POS for telling another commit to look elsewhere.

List all of the current commits who actually was wanted by BAMA. Just because it says they have an offer from there, doesn't mean it's a committable offer. This class looks a lot like Dooley/Butch's 2013 class.

We should start criticizing the class of 2020 too.

Why do you keep avoiding my question?

McKenzie was asked to seek out Kirkland. Hoke losing his job helped. Harbaugh wanted Kirkland bad when he got there, but Khalil sealed the deal when they roomed together at the all-star game? Happy?? It's hard to keep up with all of the Dooley/Butch sunshine pumpers.

But none gained in the UGA game? You're fighting the good fight for your negative perception, but in reality we are legions from where we were 3 years ago. The fact that we're bickering over losing the 2017 number 1 qb should tell you something. Fact is, we cannot guarantee immediate playing time and kids know it. The only worry I have is OL recruiting and its a tiny worry. We are chock full at qb and oozing talent at that position. We have studs who actually redshirted this season on both lines and in the backend of our d. The injury bug hit us early and often and our youth was exposed in tight games. Complain to your momma, Im excited for our future.

You asked an unanswerable question. Congrats on looking like a total fool.

Nope. Thats not evidence that KM was the sole reason Kirkland committed. Just using what you think you know as evidence is not evidence. Keep digging that hole chief.

This is your proof? Hell, we shouldve had Hunter spend the night with him.

The "perfect storm" is 2017 when many experts predict Tennessee will easily have the top class in the country.

Even with this decommitment.

He will continue to look Saban-esque at least through 2018.

Get used to it.

The same 2017 class where they just lost a their 5 star QB to Clemson? Ok..

How is anyone supposed to know what offer is commitable?

It sucks from a perception standpoint but we'll be just fine. We've got JG and now the depth chart will look more appealing for TL in '18.

Very compelling evidence.

Except the fact that Kirkland committed to UT weeks before the all-star game.
