'17 LA RB Trey Coleman (UT signee)

Tells me you don't know a hell of a lot about the make up of our starting line up.

By my count using the composite from 247, we will have 13 to16 of the 22 starters, four stars or higher, in our starting offense and defense. That's hardly a team full of 3 stars. The plus or minus 3 depends on whether or not Jack Jones wins a starting spot, Croom starts in a two TE set, and if we are playing a NB or another LB. Not to mention, most of the 3 stars that will start were 4 stars on 1 or more sites and were highly rated 3 stars regardless. There is a big difference in the lower ranked 3 stars and the upper end 3 star, that is nearly 4 star.
I know that rankings are not the end all be all... But it matters, as in probability of success, as mention above in a couple of posts. It's no coincidence that we are better than we have been in a while and have also landed higher ranked players in that same time.

Sounds completely in control of his intentions with his recruiting.

Loves LSU. Thats cool.
Vonn Bell loved Tennessee.
Tee Higgins die hard Vol fan.

But Coleman understands he has to do whats best for him. I think hes as solid of a commit we have. Whether LSU comes calling or not.

History suggests otherwise. LSU is notorious for locking their state down. But who knows

He said 'But LSU hasn't come calling yet, so."

Sounded like he was lobbing the ball into LSU's court.

Looking at this class of RB's, LSU has one guy that's a 5'7" that is more of a speed guy. They've got a fullback committed too, but I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to get a bruiser style running back like Coleman too. I'd guess Akers is at the top of their list, and if he tells them no, then they'd either try hard to flip a guy like Toneil Carter or Adarius Lemons, then offer Coleman if those fall through.
