'17 LA RB Trey Coleman (UT signee)

Not very explosive from the vid I watched. Top end speed not impressive. Does not look like an SEC rb to me. I can understand why the offer list was poor. Could be a good backup guy to grind out the yards in the 4th qtr. Watch the film on Akers if you want to see the type of back we need.

Got it all figured out don't you?

???

Akers doesn't even play RB in high school. He's a QB.

I'm very impressed by your spot on film analysis.

If we have a 3 star running back starting for us next year we're screwed. We need both Chandler and Akers if we want to keep our rushing attack on par

Unless the 3 star is really good...then we'll be fine. :)

Yea. We shouldn't have let Sutton, Vereen, Thomas, Wolf, and Smith, start last year cause they were 3*s. Damn you Butch!

One of these days, some of y'all poo-pooers will realize....

1) This staff knows how to evaluate talent.

and/or

2) This staff knows how to coach players to meet and exceed their talent levels.

There are numerous examples of both, and not just Sutton, Daniel, or Dobbs.

As long as Butch no longer combs the California sand volleyball courts looking for recruits, I'll trust his judgement.

That was Dooley's crew who was combing the sandy courts of California looking for prospects. Butch took a chance, probably because of the short time to put the class together.

Dooley's coaches actually convinced CBJ's staff to keep him. The Doooley TE coach really pushed for them.

Fool me once shame on you.
Betting Butch didn't give them a second chance...

Weak comment bro

3 stars = mediocrity. It has been proven time and again. Just noticed LSU now has 3 top 100 players after Ausbon's commitment. There is a reason why you sign 4-5 star players. They are FAR more likely to pan out than a 3 star. See Alabama's on field results for a good example of this. When was our last SEC championship …1998.

There's players that's in the NFL to this very day who were 3*s coming out of high school whose had successful careers in whichever college they attended. Does that make them mediocre? It's great to get 4* & 5*s but there's plenty of players out there who aren't as highly rated that can make an impact for a program if they work their ass off. Look at offer lists and stop obsessing with stars. You're too much like Nationdom.
