'17 MS TE Chase Rogers (Former UT commit)

Your son has a good frame. He could be a solid 250 with his same burst.

Those stats are nothing to sneeze at either. He's dominating competition... which is all he csn do.

He moves very well. And he's a player that is used to catching the football.

Also, he may not end up even in the SEC, that doesn't mean he won't be an outstanding college TE. Or PRO.

Like you said. Trust God. Stop demanding from Tennessee's coaches. Let them contact you back. Meanwhile, look around the country and see who uses TEs well.

More than likely he will participate in an All- Star game. And dominate during practice and the game. As long as he stays focused. Don't let negativity take hold. You both have worked to hard for that. Play the long game.

Good luck.
Just curious, have you ever admitted who you were to people here? You said you've played in the Sec, if so....where?

I don't think he is who he said he was...LL. Maybe I'm wrong, but many times his posts don't come across as someone that is in the know.

I really hope the coaches turn the table for you guys. Communication does show alot of respect to people. YOUR son has a great upside and can be lethal if used correctly. It also sounds like he stays motivated and has a great inner drive. I hope in the end your son ends up wearing orange but you have to do what best fits you and yours son. This is a big decision to make that is going to change the rest of his and your life. I'M sure you have noticed there are a few people on here that get but hurt easily and you can't pay them any attention and weed out the bs out of the forum. I enjoy reading your post because you call it like you see it. Either way I will be following your son if he ends up a vol or wherever he goes. Good luck and go vols.

Rockachaw, really hope your son and UT work out. If not I'm sure he will have other great opportunities to get a great education and play football at a very high level.

Rock is definitely better than I am. I won't be on the boards if my son has the opportunity that Chase and his father are experiencing now. Hes gpt way more composure than I would lol. Yall are insane.

In no way does a recruit's family member posting on here end up being a good thing but hey rock n roll.

Too busy to return a text? They are constantly texting recruits that they want. A text from Dad that says "Hey coach, haven't heard from you. You've accepted commitment from another TE, should we be worried?" Deserves a response IMO. The silence is deafening here.

Very well said. At a minimum, man up, be a professional and be straight up with the kid and his family......especially a talented instate kid at a position of need who you've already told will be the only signee at his position. It's bush league IMO. . Not returning a commit's text, much less two texts, is ridiculous.
