Lack of communication. Seems we hear that quite a bit with the current staff. They are so worried about the "next guy", they tend to forget about the other guy.
Once you commit you shouldn't need your ass kissed. Staff's should be free to focus their energies on the next commit, and as a future player, recruits should want the staff to be out assembling the best possible team.
I agree with that. I think it was Peyton that told Cutcliff on a visit to his home, "What are you doing here? Go out and get me some other players to play with". Something along those lines.
However, with this staffs history of dropping players, I can see why a parent would be concerned when the Vols just added a player at the same position and communication was seemingly cut off. Text not being returned. What's ring with a simple "Don't worry, you're good" type of text.
As I read more, I agree the question posed to Scott and/or Butch should be answered for the Rogers' sake. However, the slowing of general communication for current commits should be expected and accepted.

I just think it's a crappy way of doing things. I'm not talking about the actual dropping of kids, that's not her debate all together, but just stopping communication hoping they'll get the message. Man up, call the kid/dad, and be honest with them. Have some nuts.
