'17 MS TE Chase Rogers (Former UT commit)

It's really a dumb argument to say our coaches are spineless for not calling the and saying we don't want you anymore. It's obvious we were slow playing the kid from the way his father spoke. Why would we call a committed kid to say "hey bro were slow playing you, we aren't sure if we'll have a spot for you, likely not but who knows maybe". We hadn't cut off all contact so that means that the coaches at least thought there was a small chance we could squeeze him in. Even if we were cutting him why tf does it matter if we made the courtesy call or not?

You guys who care are too emotional. Did you care that there may have not been a courtesy call for the Tucker kid? Where were all of the posts crying about that?

Just an opinion. I hope they all suck

Hahaha...me too. I think Eason is the real deal unfortunately. I see so much Stafford in him, all the way to baby fat face and stupid haircut. I just think his weapons and line will always be superior to Lock's, even if the actual talent between the two is closer than it looks.

During games I've said we play every down within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage. .

Dude wow just wow.

If you really believe that then your reading comprehension shown in this thread is more of a problem with the brail you are using to read. You dang sure aren't watching the game with eyes man. This team is clearly getting the ball down the field. The offensive problems with this team aren't what you spent the off season wallowing in misery on but you are just to dang Blind to see it I guess.

Your post speaks for themselves. I think my position on the offense has been in line with people a hell of a lot smarter than you, so I think that says enough.

I think it shows character to phone someone when you take something way from them. Someone you've spent close to a year developing a relationship with. I don't think it's too much to ask to call and say good luck sorry we couldn't it you in. But that's just my opinion.

Again you are basing this one on one side you read on the internet. Thats like knowing OJ is innocent because you got a letter in the mail from Rob Kardashian.

I was just wondering Rockachaw, are you and your son still considering Tennessee? Or has that bridge been burnt? I can understand if you're not but I hope that you are. Apologies if you've already answered and I wish your son the best he is gonna do big thing where ever he ends up.

Would you take your ex back if she changed her mind?

I can't believe these questions or that people really expect the people involved to explain their positions.

Let this sort itself out. When you really need to know, you will know.

Agreed

Your position on the offense was dead on correct a year ago. It is dead on wrong this year.

Our offense this season has struggled for three reasons.
1) lack of quality OL pass blocking
2) lack of discipline
3) the force feeding of Hurd

From game one this team got the ball down the field in the passing game. Too bad the other issues weren't fixed.

Disagree. Many times we've not even challenged teams deep. We've run everyone to the sticks, or short of them. We've had receivers so close to one another no one knows which receiver Dobbs is attempting to throw to.

Ignore the stats all you want but it just makes you look more stubborn. Story out last week had us 4th in the SEC in pass receptions over 20yds to WRs, Malone is putting up beastly numbers, and Dobbs is leading the SEC in TD passes over 20yds. This offense has successfully challenged teams down the field all year. It's been the other part of the game that has hurt this offense. It's time you get your head out of the sand and realize this offense has evolved. It really sounds ignorant for fans like you, broadcasters, and media people to keep regurgitating the dame ole talk from a year ago about Dobbs, WRs, and not getting the ball down the field. It's dead ass wrong at this point.

Agreed. The deep game has been very good. It's the inconsistency in the intermediate game that has struggled.

It's so dang strange. Dobbs has thrown the deep ball very well but those 10-15 yards range he has struggled. Weird from his first 3 years

I've got one stat for you, 62nd.

You're right, I was wrong. 72nd

He asked him if his son was still considering us? How did you get the rest of your post out of that?

Those stats are misleading. A screen pass can go for 80.
