These kids now days aren't loyal like that anymore. My wife took my son and nephew to the Alabama game a few years back and the boys came back bama fans. It's all about what have you done lately. If you look at all the kids that have left the state to go to other schools over the years it's sad. Like kbvol said, we'll be fine without them but it sure would be nice to see the best football players from Tennessee playing for Tennessee

Sounds like "Rocky Top" immersion therapy is needed. 48 hours listening to Rocky Top in a Room painted UT orange and filled with UT merchandise with great Vol victories playing on a loop on several different tvs ought to fix em right up.

This years recruiting is really disappointing...not seeing it getting any better. I know they are working hard, but Butch may have hung himself by not getting rid of Azzani and Mahoney. I do not understand this at all...sorry for the gloom, but my BVS is making a comeback.

And...that goes back to my original post. If he was born in another state and has family there, then he may have some influence from there. The midstate area is not full of people who were only born and raised in TN.

I was born in Dallas and moved to Memphis when I was 4. I went to UT, but I am a Cowboys and Rangers fan because of my family influence. I am not a Titans fan. Same goes for some of these kids.

I couldn't agree more...I was personally done with Chaney when UT's offense finished 107th in the country...2011 I believe.

Well , it won't be your kid. First mistake is your wife took them instead of you. Second mistake is you had not trained them properly to hate Bama. You failed as a father.

Azzani and Mahoney have nothing to do with Stevens having us low on his list, you know.

I've actually made the same argument about him concerning Gibbs. They're both really similar athletes (I think Gibbs is the better of the two) and project at the same position. With out DB/Safety haul in 2016, I think we're fine with just one of the two.

DL and RB are much more vital positions of need in 2017, IMO.
