It doesn't matter where the stars come from as long as they come. If we relied on in state talent every recruiting class we wouldn't be a very good program because outside of this class it's isn't anything to worry over.
This seems to be a special class though. It's hard to believe the majority are looking elsewhere, or at least that's what it seems
A lot of the good instate players aren't very interested it seems...
Actually there is alot more interested in Tennessee than they have been in awhile. Talking to people it seems that if CBJ takes another step forward this year than we could really take a step forward with the kids in state. Top flight kids want to see WINS. If CBJ can produce that then the recruitment process will start to take care of itself.
Which of the top kids? Sure a lot of marginal Tennessee boys are "really" interested, guys down the list. That would probably be the best offer they get. It seems like all the cream wants to go anywhere but UT. And I don't care what you guys say, that is not good. If all we end up with is Higgins and Smith, and worst case not even them...then that is bad. If recruiting was going great guns everywhere but Tennessee that would be one thing, but it's not.
