No. I'd be surprised if Bituli moved to DE. His frame is already filled out. He's a LB all the way. Got some PT there on Saturday as well.

It's a huge need but we have recruited DT very well in this class already. I like what we have in the fold there. Another big-time guy there would be huge, but our biggest need on defense is by far upgrading our talent/commit list at LB. I've also heard mixed things on Blakely. I wont be surprised if he ends up being a DE.

I've heard Blakely is pretty athletic, but lacks passion right now. If he hangs around Colton and DK long enough that can change.

Blue Chip 4* top 247 player 'fill in the blank' made his 8th visit in 7 weeks to Rocky Top. He has a final 3 of Tennessee, Nevada State and Vanderbilt. He will likely visit Tennessee 3 more times over the next 2 weeks before he makes his announcement. I'm not ready to say Tennessee is leading in this one but I think the Vols are going to be a team to watch going forward. He certainly likes Tennessee but this one has felt like it could be slipping away.

For all the talk that Bituli has moved to DE it remains that he has only got practice reps as a LB. Not one rep at DE.

He got some practice reps at DE week before Kirkland got hurt. It was experimenting more than any permanent thing at moment. He obviously is only focusing LB again that Kirkland is out. If he stays around what he is he will be a LB but staff thinks his body may naturally gain weight to where they have to put him at DE. With what he did in that goalline package DE might not be a bad idea. He worked some dude. Explosive and strong kid

I personally don't thing so with Phillips. Bama always racks up on 5* recruits & especially at OL & LB. Plus, Phillips doesn't seem to be interested in us too much at all now.
