That's what DeBorg specializes in, so the turn around was credited to him. He comes in and guys get better. Not rocket science here.
I doubt that a rocket scientist would be a very good OL coach. Mahoney had to replace the best OL we had since the late 90s. He was left with no tackles and no experience at any OL position. His line improved during the season and was the baseline for the new recruits to fit into the system. It helps that Deborg was available to help with the coaching duties. I don't understand when people, fans, can not look at the complete picture before forming ideas based on incomplete information.
