First, in Nashville on Sunday, offensive lineman Obinna Eze was dominant at times. He has come a long way from when he first started to give football a go over a year ago.

Now, he's emerged as one of the top offensive linemen in the South and is turning into a national recruit. It was a showing, in talking to a few people close to the situation, that wasn't just a confirmation that the 6-6, 285-pound lineman had a ton of potential, but that the potential could be met sooner than the three year time frame most expected.

I hope so. If we can pull him and Trey Smith, that's a daunting OT pairing. This has to be the best year for Tennessee high school talent ever and I just hope we get our fair share (i.e., everyone the staff wants).

It actually does benefit UT as they were 1 of the 1st to see/offer him when he 1st arrived in TN with us. He has been to UT numerous times and will probably be bk soon too.

My theory is the tackle prospects can move inside and be better for the type of offense ut runs due to tackle prospects usually being more athletic then Ur normal og and c.

I agree with csprig on this one...seems easier and more beneficial to convert tackles into guards than guards into tackles
