'17 WV OT Billy Ross (UNC commit)

That is true. Being 14th in the nation also means finishing 7th in the SEC. Last year's class was really not that great when compared to our rivals.

And yet we are favored to win the east. Why don't you quit the drama? No one can prove to you what this class will be, but you come on every thread with this gloom and doom and allegations that cant be proven or disproven for 3 more years. It will be fine. Really. Coaches are way smarter than you about this, and actually appear to be smarter than recruiting services (journalists) early on.

The 2016 class ranking doesn't really have much to do with the hype going into this season. The much stronger classes in 2014 and 2015 more so.

That is why we won't know about the 2016 class for a few years. I for one think it will wind up being just as strong.

Some do tend to take that approach. If the class is ranked high, the ranking means a lot TODAY. If it isn't ranked high, better to wait 2-3 years to talk about it.

Yeah some are smart enough to realize the recruits aren't lining up this week. It's called development.

Our 'rivals' are Bama and the SEC East teams, not the entire SEC. Nobody is going to out-recruit Bama right now. In the '16 composite rankings, UGA finished 8th signing 21; UF finished 13th signing 25; and UT finished 14th signing 21. It's also tough to out-recruit UGA and UF year after year with the home-grown talent they have, but if you look at star power then UT's '16 class was actually stronger on talent than UF's.

You can respond to him if you want but he is one of the worst trolls on here.

Whyyyyyyyy do people continue to try and educate that Eastvol dude? He doesn't get. He won't get. Whether it's through stubborn ignorance or purposeful bias is really not important. You are not going to enlighten him or open his eyes so stop trying. When you do you quote him and then I have to see his stupid posts that I am attempting to ignore.

To associate "Those who are not with me are against me" with North Korea demonstrates how out of touch people can be.

Worrying about stars on a Olineman is for the birds. hardest positon for these recruiting folks to predict

Yeah, OL isn't a position I worry about stars. Main thing I want to see with an OL recruit is the film showing him bury people. Not just good feet, and hands. I want to see him bury the guy across from him. Put him on his back. Drive him head first into the ground. Just straight up nastiness. The techniques can be taught.

Alot of these kids will get bumped between now and NSD.Butch and the Bob's have great skill in selecting these kids.We will be fine.

Maybe 1 or 2 will. Jackson and Henderson are the two I think are underrated. If Bembry is a legit 6'3 / 6'4 then he also should get heavy consideration. Crazy thing is I've seen him listed all over the place anywhere from 6'1 to 6'4 so who knows what his real height is.

I think at least 6 current commits in this class are going to be droppable if recruiting starts to improve during the season.

Good footwork is not easy to teach. You either naturally have it or you don't. IMO by it's the most important quality with an offensive lineman. Length and a natural bend (especially for OT's) is also extremely important.

I'd say physicality and a nasty mindset can be taught much more easily than any of those other things...

Yeah, that's what I meant by not just good feet and hands. Those are important. Kid has to move well.
