2 stars don't play. So I'd say he outplayed the ranking. It's not exactly a high bar. He has played like a mid to high 3 star player. If he could learn to turn his head around and play the ball he could be 4 star level. If he can't do that with a warren coaching then he just never will. He has good measurables to be a really good player. Needs a bit more up top and technique wise

It seemed like Moseley got a lot of hype early on and people really expected more out of him.

He played much, much better than his ranking as a true freshman and people (myself included) assumed he'd take a step the next two years.


He's looked like the same guy as long as he's been here, though.

Edit: even worse at times

I guess I don't understand how one can determine this. Even so, I believe the evidence (those we signed and those we went after and committed elsewhere) would show that this staff evaluates well.

Great athlete. Let's hope that the coaching gets better. Our staff evaluated on his potential and then forgot to give him a great coach.,

Per witfong on 247 who wrote an good article about our current recruiting class... TN source said Flint reminds them of Kirkland JR......but of course VN says he sucks lol never change

Whoever on VN said that he sucked hasn't watched much of what he can do. Really think he will be a great player at TN. He doesn't play at the highest classification in Ala nor at the best HS or Conference which probably is why he's only a 3* but he is close to that 4* ranking. If he played at a higher classification than 4A and at a better HS than Madison County I guarantee he would easily be a 4* and higher ranked at his position. He will be a beast in O&W.

Mathew Flint Lb commit-processed after O.V. Last weekend!! Another commit gone!!

Went through all weekend events for the official visit, was meeting with CJP before he left & was only then told he wasn’t being offered a scholarship! His head coach called Fulmer, and was told that he didnt fit Tennessee system (3-4) !!! Why send a kid on a official visit then tell him to go kick rocks... needless to say Tennessee no longer welcome @ MADISON County H.S. ,Al. Btw that’s were LSU rb commit tae provens goes as well, school produces some talent!
