I’ll give you Bituli, he showed some really good things last year, I think he’s gonna be really good.

But Austin Smith? Don’t know about Ignont, we saw nothing from/of him last year.

Archer is a high quality program run by high quality coaches. Plays against tough competition. His 4.6 40 is probably legit. Some of these guys (and their coaches) that post 4.4s are less likely to be legit.

Seen flashes from Ignot and Smith. I predict that next year we make a huge jump defensively. So big of a jump that people will hate butch even more, if that's possible.

Long way to go over the next 8 days. I expect lots of twists and turns. Palmer today is a great example. Had heard positives for Tennessee last night and this am ... and by the late afternoon, was told the Vols were trailing N.C. State for the Peach State corner.

The early signing period along with an all new coaching staff building relationships has made this the most unpredictable recruiting finish I can remember. We could literally be the toast of signing day landing multiple 4 and 5 star talents, or be complete dud signing a bunch of backup plans.

Don’t get me wrong N.C. State is a nice little school but don’t know how someone with a legit offer from UT would choose them over us.

With the CB coaches on our staff, I would have thought four and five star CBs would be competing for a spot at Tennessee. I know we sucked for years, by for crying out loud, look at the coaches here now!

I like this kids game more than Smith's. Jmo though. Also...that CB from Louisiana that committed to us is a good prospect. He was named to Louisiana's 5A all State team....the states highest classification. Don't sleep on that kid.

I agree. This kid can stick his foot in the ground and break on a ball as quick as anyone. He intercepts about 3-4 hitch routes on his tape

Coaches didn't know where to put him.

Yet he was challenging DK Jr their freshman season for MLB.
Then later in the year he started at OLB.

Red-Shirted soph year for position change.

Last year Shoop still didn't know how to use him.

Taylor
Bituli
Kirkland
Ignot
Smith

Are all going to have unexpectedly good seasons.

Butch Jones- the ultimate distraction - is gone KB.

Go back and look at these 5 guys tape. In High School and College game. All of them are 3 years in or more except Ignot. And he came in physically ready.

If Sapp can get more physical...watch out!

Absolutely right.

If this staff can get 1 corner that could play a lot next year and get some CB depth, then so be it.

Next year, I think this class will be really good top to bottom.

If you all continue to use the phrase "must get" the only thing that will be a must get is the disappointment you will have if we don't sign him. One player, with few very, very rare exceptions, does not make or break a class. It would sting to lost this kid to NC State, but I don't think anybody knows for sure what is happening. If we do lose him, it is still far from time to freak out.

Agree. And he's a really good looking prospect too. Rivals guys (They've missed a lot lately) think he's going to NC State, 247 seems to think it'll probably be Tennessee. Should be interesting.

Be nice to get him. Not only is he a legit prospect he has two 2019 secondary teammates highly rated that have discussed playing together.
