Sugar coat it all you want, Butch is getting owned right now by the true elite recruiters. This loss doesn't hurt as much as long as JG works out but it's still a loss.

Ron nailed it in another post. It's put up or shut up time on the field for Butch.

It's like Butch Jones is blind or something..why waste his time trying to recruit all these 5* players?? doesn't he know that these recruits aren't going to choose Tennessee until they start winning??? It's so pathetic it's embarrasing..just go home and win Butch Jones.

Think I'm gonna bow out of this thread forever. The amount of ignorance is abundant in here. For 10 years TN has been in the toilet, and all the while OSU and Clemson have had MONSTER seasons, but still some of you expect us to recruit with them. We HAVE TO WIN before TOP RECRUITS WILL COME.

QB is the only position you gotta look at more than physical tools. Guys like Dobbs and Guarantano exude a swagger and confidence that says they can be trusted to lead a football team.

It's good that you have an outlet to let the butthurt flow. Every kid that doesn't pick Tn or is perceived to no longer be a lean is overrated, don't care, not any good, etc. Most fans do it, but you go to extremes and make all TN fans look bad.

This one probably hurts a little worse for most because he wanted to commit at the spring game to Tn but was told to wait because coaches wanted to see what Lawrence did. OSU swooped in and stole him.

Jones can publicly say OSU is his "dream school" but to some Georgia is really his dream school. If they turn the heat up watch out.

Still think there is a chance we land him. Watch this fall to see what schools he visits and if he can make it to OSU for some games. If not this is when distance will factor even more in this recruitment and could turn the tide in our favor

Emory Jones is going nowhere close to Athens as long as Chaney is OC.

Said who? Even if true his dream school is OSU so he'd probably flipped and that's sent everyone over the edge
