Or he's got time to continue killing it recruiting wise, does well as far as wins and Lawrence sticks. Yes, it would be better for us if that didn't happen.

So he wants to go fight out for a spot vs Eason and Hunter?

If we don't take a QB this year then TN would be the better option.

He would be sitting behind JG for at least 3 years here. He's going to be really good, but he ain't beating out Jarrett in this offense. He may not be any better than Eason either...So 3 years there at least also. Clemson is his best shot. He will blow by HJ head to head.

Actually, we will never know the answer to this question. The only evidence we have is what the OP said. Our average ypg went up about 15% and our average PPG went up about 21%. That is factual. One of the factors that we had in 2015 that we did not have in 2014 is Mike DeBord. It does not mean that is why, but it is strong evidence that he definitely helped.

This is one that I hope goes to Clemson but he is most likely a dawg.

Winning will bring them. It's a shame that a kid who's family grew up UT fans won't be going here it seems.

Eason is going to start as a true freshman and TL will be a JR in high school this year. The 3 year math doesn't work. JG will redshirt so he would have to beat him out or play only 1 year. Agree that HJ isn't on the same level. UGA and Clemson have obviously done a better job recruiting and developing the relationship. Looks like we threw the towell in early here to me.

He can play in any of those systems. Which will prepare him more for the next level and which can protect him the best. Very athletic kid. Most folks don't believe how athletic he is until they see him play live.

He'll be behind Eason and Fromm at UGA. More competition that he'll have at UT.

And to think he grew up loving the Vols, and we were once way out ahead on this one.

I don't get it. All of a sudden we can't seem to get an elite QB (HJ & TL), and UGA and Clemson get them all. What the hell is going on here?:eek:hmy:

VN been talking to the coaches, telling them we only need DT QB's who can't throw the football more than 15 yards. Why throw the ball when you can run the triple option like Georgia Southern and Georgia Tech.

Yes it would be nice to know what the hell is going on here. Butch was once a recruiting genius it seemed when we were 5-7 now we are the talk of the SEC and can't get any elite player. UGA seems to get whoever the hell they choose even though they haven't win ---- in how many years. Did Clemson hire GFW or something? Would sure be nice to hear some news on what is going on. And did Eazy TD disappear too? Skeeter?

This happens every year when a big program gets a new "star" coach. Uga and smart will have to win games to keep this up or you could see some flips near nsd and a huge loss of momentum. Clemson is the hot team right now. Let the season play out and things will happen :).
