If he's worried about Hunter being a star, what's he gonna think about JG at UT? We all believe he's gonna be a star for us.

If JG is a star TL would only be behind him one season as JG would likely go pro after his Rs So season. If Hunter Johnson wins the starting job as a Fr and becomes a star TL would have to sit behind him 2 seasons.

Here we go people got JG leaving after year 2. I hope and think JG will have a great career here, but even if he does well it doesn't mean he will be ready to bolt in 2 years. QB's need to be super special to do that, I hope he is that good but it may take 3 years who knows it may take 4. Let's just let him excel him for a game or 2 before moving him too the NFL. GBO!!!!

Damn right JG is lightyears ahead of below average Hunter Johnson. HJ had one decent throw at the Army All American game and now everyone thinks he's Jesus or something.

You really couldn't blame TL or HJ for not wanting to come here. The damn QB coach was a grad assistant and the OC was some type of swim coach

How can Hunter be a star? Most of VN has said that he is overrated and not worthy of his ranking. Of course this is because he chose Clemson. If he chose the Vols, Hunter would be the best QB in the class. Classic VN.

The answer to the debate will play out over the next few years. He has a nice deep ball but looks horrible under pressure to me. He will have a better chance at succeeding against ACC defenses than he would in the SEC. I don't think he'll be a star, but that's obviously just an opinion. Time will tell.

Actually several of us were really questioning him after watching him play while he was still committed to us.

I was definitley one..you don't throw as many interceptions as he did and still deserve a 5* rating. I was actually glad when he decomitted thinking it meant we would have a better chance at Lawrence..
