Its SOOOO early, 2 is fine for now. I just don't want to hear the gnashing of teeth if we go through this second junior day without a new commit. I agree we are better served to have less commits early on. Orange carpet day was the day that will live in infamy from last year. Lets see what where we are after that this year and we will be able to have some sound judgement on the class.

I hear you. We always close strong I would like for us to be sitting about 17 commits around September October. The highly talenter kids not space fillers for the class. I think they will be smarter this yearhopefully they will learn from their mistakes. The class we had while not bad doesn't set us up for championships if history serves us well and having those type classes more than not will make it extremely difficult to win national title

Don't get me wrong. I have a brand new mattress, still in it's original plastic, sitting in my shed just waiting for the day I need to drag it out into the middle of the street and light it up.

Some of these guys apparently have a stock pile of mattresses. Maybe they buy them in bulk at goodwill or something. I've always personally preferred the burning of new mattresses myself. It's just good form IMO.

We along with USC offered early on. That is something that stands out to a kid like Teague. He is garnishing tons or praise and attention now.

Where I believe we have been behind USC, they made him a priority whereas we allowed it to play out a little longer. Now everyone is on him and he's a huge priority. Still a ton of time here. Jr has someone in his ear daily 😂 (Not kidding). Lots of recruiting being done around here.

Like our chances

No. Just because he is visiting another school on the same day as our Junior Day (in March for crying out loud), does not mean he hates Tennessee and we have no chance.

I've said it at least a hundred times before (and will probably say it again I'm sure), if you can't get any further than this into the recruiting cycle without already having lost it over what these kids do, then following recruiting is probably not for you. Find a hobby to keep you busy until football season actually starts.

I just don't like seeing Clemson involved cuz if a kid did commit early to them it's hard to get them back cuz of Dabos visit rules

I agree with you. There's nothing like the smell of fresh mattress roasting, the whole family gathered around it burning the coach in effigy and roasting marshmallows.

Right now, Teague is a South Carolina-Auburn battle. The Tigers are in this more than some think. Tennessee needs to get him back on campus again. Vols have other RBs targets in mind, too.
