Oh well. Do we know the other top targets? Not really worried about running back as long as we have CRG.

Doesn't it make more sense that there's more going on here than we know about? Gillespie is a upper-tier recruiter, there's got to be variables in play.

Something ain't right. Staff seems to be heavily focused on in state right now. So either he is down the board some or he isn't showing the love back

Eh, not sure I like that move unless CRG is SUPER, SUPER confident with Franklin.


Mississippi is a tough place for us recruiting usually. Coaches felt really confident about Akers last year and we saw how that played out.


I guess we'll see.

Have a friend with a kid at Bradley. He was not impressed with Teague in that game. Obviously a great player and I wasn't going to say anything because I was thinking that my friend may have just been confused. It was before Teague really blew up. I have never seen him play but have been wondering if we did not have a few ahead of him.

Did I miss something, or is this speculation?

Are we not recruiting him? Seems unlikely that we're not recruiting him at all. I suppose it's possible though.


Is he in a position that maybe he isn't just jumping on board until he looks around because maybe he might want to go somewhere else? Was wondering if maybe he is looking to possibly get away of his own accord


Or is it that the coaches have other people in mind and he may not be as high on our board? If this is the case...while I like Teague, I have to trust CRG here.

Really am curious as to what those in the know on this feel is happening.

Yeah because Urban Meyer comes to Murfreesboro all the time. He's getting huge offers by the day. He's talented.

As for the Bradley game, I didn't see that one. I will say he missed 2 games to injury last year and rushed for over 2000 yards and 24 TDS. Including over 200 against Maryville and 5 or 6 TDS.

He's a player and a great kid. My response earlier was to Tony asking if he has character issues. This kid is Josh Dobbs 2.0 with academics.

Would love to see our board. I know they have Franklin way up there, but who else? I hope they don't slow play Teague and then miss on the other guys

He is most certainly a D1 back. Sounds like a great kid. This staff may have evaluated some guys ahead of him. Perhaps we all have no clue which is most likely. One of two things I think and been wondering for some time on the this one. They have others they like better. Could be just two or three guys which still means they value him highly. Second point is he may feel he is not as high on their board even if he is. Who knows for sure? They will still play their senior season and we saw several guys pop up during that time and others because of their play fall down. This is another reason that staff should recruit hard and be slow to take commits because even their evaluations will change. Teague will be fine regardless but we do value guys we know higher than others do. I have done it myself.

I do worry about things like this then like the midstate LB/DE guy who blew up and there was no way we could catch up.

I saw every game last year and have watched this kid play the last 5 years. Character is not an issue with this kid in the least. High morals and puts God and family before all things His stock at UT is fine, he is not looking to have someone confirm his abilities or "how good he is or much he is needed" but I do believe he wants a program that is excited to have him on board. I watched the Bradley game maybe I am biased... here is a snipet you tell me...4 touchdowns in that game... I can see why he wasn't impressed.
21 carries for 166yds 200 all purpose yards...
