'18 TN RB Master Teague

It is an attractive option. However, if loyalty, relationships, and family is important then why go to the school that slow played you and hasn't been involved for very long. If relationships are important, then OSU should be closer to the bottom. We certainly don't know the full situation but it seems like OSU has been using him like a backup plan. Oh well. Kids make their decisions for reasons we could never understand. We'll see what he chooses soon.
I think that's the one thing that annoys me about it. Don't pee down my leg and tell me it's raining. Don't say it's all about relationships blah blah blah and then turn around and ignore the very things you said were important.

Anyone wanna go on record to say he won't be a Buckeye come signing day? With the class they have going right now I wouldn't be surprised he gets pushed out. Not because he isn't good enough but because their class is STACKED

That's entirely possible, they already have two top RB prospects committed. Even if they do sign him, it will be difficult for him to play early in his career at OSU.

I'm pretty sure I read a quote a while back where Provens is lretty high on UT, but UT still had a few guys ahead of him on their board.

Yes sir. That's what I heard, also. If we lose out on Grant and Dixon, I would expect Provens would then be a take. But, that's just an educated guess.

SD50 all I want is for you to be fair. In the last 5 yrs where does UT stand with draft oicks in comparison to any of the schools this kid is interested in? 1. Clemson, 2. UGA, 3. tOSU, 4. Auburn vs UT. No bias or 1 class discussions. Kids don't look at CBJ tenure they look at UT history recently. This is all I'm saying, we hv older ambassadors EB and Peyton the others hv more recent guys is my inly point. Then more recent NCs also helps these schools outside of UGA and Kirby will use his Alabama ties as he does to mk himself relevant in that discussion.

Anyone can see that UT is clearly trending up, especially compared to our recent history. All WE want is for you to be fair and POINT THAT OUT to the kids.

One important point:

We heard all of this from Blaze, not from Teague or his family.

Eh idk about "clearly trending up." We've clearly climbed from out of the dumps and stabilized, but after 2015 I think there are arguments to be made for us trending up, trending down, or having plateaued. 2017 will be telling.

Yeah, I said something similar and threw in a little dig at blaze45 and got ripped a new one. I really just want to here what blaze45 says now. But, it seems like he has disappeared since Teague announced he was committing yesterday

I just can't believe people don't see an upward trend at UT. We were far less than mediocre from about '08 until year before last, and two 9 win seasons are a big step up from all that. Yes, Jones $&@! The bed vs. SCAR and Vandy. Reminded me a lot of "Clemsoning," only they don't call It that anymore after last year. When you have a rebuilding job to do there are going to be hiccups along the way, and Jones's rebuilding job has been a much taller task than anything Dabo had to do.

People need to get behind Jones. I'm not saying people should act like blind sheep and not question anything the man does, the s&c was a pretty bone headed move. I'm saying the media, UT "fans," and others in the state need to quit acting like he's the worst coach in the SEC. Nobody in the league has had to face the kind of rebuilding job Jones took on.
Good post

I don't think he's a troll, but it's always possible he's just not as close to the family as he thinks or has portrayed himself.

I mean, for a family that has kept it all so close to the vest throughout this whole process, I have a hard time seeing their closest friends posting their inside thoughts on recruiting on the internet and then being cool with it.

All speculation, of course though.

Also a good point. This year is a huge year.

If going from historic lows to 3 straight bowl wins for the first time in 20 years isn't an upward trend, then I don't know what is.

It's an upward trend from historic s***tiness. No one is arguing against that.

But it's not clear whether we're trending up from being a 8-4, 2nd/3rd place in our division team or not yet.

So all that bull**** about "loyalty and family and Jesus" really meant "recent draft picks and coach". Cool, sounds like a sellout.
