19 students, 3 adults dead in Texas elementary shooting.

Ye of goldfish-level memory:

In November 2017, 26 people were killed at a church in Sutherland Springs, Texas.

In February 2018, 17 people were killed at a high school in Parkland, Florida.

In May 2018, 10 people were killed at a high school in Santa Fe, Texas.

In October 2018, 11 people were killed at a synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

In November 2018, 12 people were killed at a restaurant in Thousand Oaks, California.

In May 2019, 12 people were shot and killed at an office building in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

In August 2019, 22 people were killed at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas.
And not one single shooter was an nra member. And a bunch under Democrats. You keep trying to make it a political thing, while crying that's what Republicans do. Heck, both sides do it, but it's funny because you never see yourself doing it.

Yet oddly, they mostly happen during a democratic presidency 🤔.
Are you seriously breaking this down in terms of which political party is in The White House? As if the President could put a stop to it with the right policy? If serious, that is being excessively tribal, even by the standards of VolNation.

Not to mention the fact that it's not accurate either :

1) Virginia Tech shooting - 2007 under George W. Bush
2) Mandalay Bay shooting - 2017 under Trump
3) Sutherland Springs, Texas Church shooting - 2017 under Trump
4) Parkland, Florida Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting - 2018 under Trump
5) Santa Fe, Texas High School shooting - 2018 under Trump
6) El Paso, Texas Walmart shooting - 2019 under Trump

Damn, there was an awful lot of stupid in that post.

An Uncomfortable Truth: A Look at the Corresponding Rise of Antidepressants, SSRIs, and Mass Shootings

Due to privacy laws, it is mostly left open to speculation unless the families of the shooters want to publicly disclose what, if any, medication the perpetrator was taking. One of the Columbine killers, Eric Harris, had taken Zoloft. The Aurora, Colorado movie shooter, James Holmes, was taking a variety of things... but for the most part, it's just guesswork, and making correlations - which don't always fit.

Posters on forums such as this prefer to blame the over-prescribing of psychotropic drugs, because it fits very neatly into an already existing belief system.

It’s a subject that deserves study and doesn’t require family or inmate permission.

The question you should be asking is ”why is this not being studied”?

And again, you guys cry about Republicans making it political, when that's exactly what you're doing. Plenty more shootings under Democrats, but they were mostly called "work place violence " for 8 years. Both sides do it, but you all are doing it, while trying to call out the other side for doing it. If you were smart, you'd seen the post I made right above this explaining that. You lefties sure do get hockey when you read something you don't like, and get all tough guy on the internet 🤣. Should I worry? Most mass shootings are committed by you guys?

Judging by the fact that most of the people that do it are weenie rejects I think you know this answer. They're just trying to run ahead of the game here.

LOL. Making it political is what YOU just did ... All I did was point out how you were wrong.
Again, I didn't make it political, I responded to a post that did. Maybe learn to read the quote I was responding to? I know that's hard for you internet cave man tough guys.🤣

Psychiatric meds represent big $$$ for pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer and Eli Lilly. I can easily believe that they are being over-prescribed, but there isn't any data to definitively link them to mass shootings.
I guess defining over-prescription would be important in this instance.

So about this ominous sounding “he had 1600 rounds of ammunition on him” narrative. Last night we were watching the news and that stupidity was spoken again. I reached into the bedside table and grabbed a .40 15 round mag loaded with 13 rounds and put it on her hand. (Too bad I lost the pistol in another horrible boating accident) She just looked at me like “so what?” I said that’s 13 rounds. Think how heavy 1600 rounds of ammo would be much less how big of a pile it would be with or without being loaded into mags.

They’re still feeding us some ******** here.

You made it political, with your grossly inaccurate claim that mass shootings mostly happen when a Democrat is President. I mean, how stupid are you? Did you really not think that would be rebutted?
^^^^ Making it political. ^^^^
Oh my , you're scaring me with your name calling tough guy🤣. Again, in English, the language you're using, if you were smart enough to read what I responded to, you'd clearly see it wasn't me making it political. That said, I doubt you have good comprehension skills, it's obvious. Should I list all the shootings under Democrats? I'll agree 100% it happens under both, but it's not just a Republican thing, nor the response like SOMEONE ELSE was trying to make it, before I responded to them. You only read what you wanted, got your panties in a wad, and do what your side does best, play tough behind a keyboard.

Perhaps a precrime program is the solutions to these increasing mass murders. Hmmm..., I wonder if...

I’m hindsight a mentally I’ll person probably shouldn’t have bought a gun. Let’s make it tougher for everyone else now.
Nobody is making anything tougher for anyone. That’s kind of the point. Not sure what you’re getting at, honestly… but getting back on subject: how do you problem-solve without using hindsight?

When people that don't know anything about guns and, better yet, want to put them in a bad light you get huge amounts of bovine excrement launched into the public where people that don't know better believe it's true.

To your point I think 1600rnds of 5.56 would be a good 45lbs and would take 53 30rnd mags. Anyone claiming that was his loudout is at best being stupid and at worst knows better and is lying.
