If you only had a bigger voice to tell those parents of dead children to piss off. Don’t worry, you can leave it to your hero president to do that like he did with the the dead marines familiesOh piss off. You aren't even considering the liabilities that come with arming teachers. You're just spewing some emotionally charged nonsense.
Your answer to my question sucks ass. Try again.
Another thing you’re obviously not considering is the fact that armed teachers is an IMMEDIATE response and therefore less lives lost. Ever heard the term “.22/380/9mm/40/45….. all faster than dialing 911”?So who shoots the teacher that goes nuts and starts shooting with their school issued firearm?
Liabilities that come from arming teachers? You just have the federal government issue a blanket decree waiving any such liabilities. Does that sound the least bit familiar?
How about let's stay on topic. I'm not the Governor of Texas, and I don't claim to have the answers. Gov. Abbott's response to these mass shooting incidents in the past has been to make it even easier to both purchase a gun, and to carry a gun in Texas. It hasn't helped to prevent these shootings from happening.
The satire is a little bit off here. The United States is not the only country that has a problem with mentally ill, lone gunmen going on shooting sprees which kill large groups of people in confined quarters, over a brief period of time. However, the United States is the only country in the world where a gunman targeting kids while they are in school, has become a routine occurrence. This was a shocking news story from Littleton, Colorado in 1999. It's not anymore. It's happened too many times now.Reading the fake quotes in this onion piece is like reading the retorts in this thread.
‘No Way To Prevent This,’ Says Only Nation Where This Regularly Happens
Let’s mourn for now. Nobody makes rational decisions with emotions like this involved. Allow those to subside before we debate. I’m heartbroken for these families as I have five young children. I cannot even imagine the pain. Prayers for them all.
