From a budgetary standpoint, without infringing on 2A rights while knowing we will NEVER prevent nut jobs from doing nut job things under the status quo, what if we took $10B annually (it wouldn’t even have to be that much, just rounding up and spitballing here) and applied it to funding armed security at all of the almost 99,000 public schools in the country? That’s about $100,000 per school for armed security in what could be my embarrassing public math, so somebody fact check me. The Dept of Education has a $68B annual budget, subtract $5B from their woke agenda curriculum to commit toward armed security, subtract another $5B from other nefarious budgetary items and it’s a wash. I would rather put it toward the protection of these kids instead of overpriced defense contracts that never see the light of day or go grossly over budget, housing illegal immigrants, (insert pet project money drain here), etc. Just a thought. Fire away.
