From what I've been reading on RedsZone it probably isn't a bad trade if they pick up an extension on his contract and control him for a few years. If it's only one year, then it's bad. I didn't realize how good he is. So I guess I did overreact a little bit. :crazy:

Not a huge fan of that trade, but Wood is really the only guy I like going forward, and he isn't probably isn't ever going to be more than a number 4 guy. This is getting pretty close to being an all in year.

Yankees are keeping Andruw Jones. 1 year for 2 million with another 1.4 million possible in incentives

And yeah, maybe they are hoping he is another bat to deal? But it seems like his value will decrease having to hit in San Diego. And it just added to their logjam of guys who can play first base or attempt to play right field.

Maybe i'm missing something, though.

Maybe trying to do what the A's did with Holliday on a smaller scale. Idk..doesn't make sense especially given the loss of FA compensation in the new CBA.

Does anyone think Prince F will go to the Dodgers? Would love to see him compliment Kemp, Gordan and Kershaw...
