Once the NCAAT pairings were announced, the two Top 25 polls and every other rating system became irrelevant for the duration of the NCAAT. The only "poll" that matters for these three weeks is what the Selection Committee decided. And, they decided that St. Mary's is not close to the Top 25. Make sense?

Going off what?

Thomas and Goodwin will probably move on to the NBA from Memphis.

Stokes and McRae from UTK.

The rest of the guys on both teams are mostly 4 stars (Hall, Golden, Black, Crawford), some threes (DJ Stephens, Richardson, Ferro Hall, Antonio Barton). Joe is a 5 star for Memphis.

Am I missing something?

How often have the AP and Coaches Polls been mentioned during NCAAT coverage since the NCAAT pairings were announced?

Well, we beat UTK at home and you finished 5th, we also beat Bama half to death in a preseason scrimmage and they finished 4th, so we'd likely fall somewhere between 2nd and 4th.

I can guarantee we wouldn't be losing to any slaw dog UGA or Arkansas squads.

Got a good point here.

If I was a Memphis St. fan this would be the reason I would question Pastnor, not the scheduling. Cant think of one of those players that looked like they improved under Pastnor.

Memphis has 3 McDonald all americans on their roster. Tenn has 0.

Dj "that jump guy" stevens... he is a freak who sucked out of high school, (and i hope he gets drafted by the clippers in the 2nd ) but that's the only one i can think of

Show me some sites that have McRae and Stokes on their mock drafts this year...there's several that have Thomas and Goodwin.

Thought we were talking Memphis, is what Martin does relevant to Pastner and his standing with Memphis?

You said preseason Memphis needed to make a sweet 16, they didn't and barely won one, so by your definition they underachieved.

Am I missing something?
