I think Keith Easterwood reads VN, on the Garry Parrish show yesterday he said that the internet rumors are that Austin is a slient to UT.
The last thing we want is Easterwood saying Nichols is a Vol.
I swear these Memphis writers are bad..Leroy, KE....now Martin is saying the Nichols to memphis visit is serious interest and they're a serious player. Just recently he was saying josh was done recruiting Memphis this year and there'd be no more in this class.
He put off going to Auburn for day to attend this. Any worries here about memphis. He is quoted as saying he wants to see how fans react to him being there????
It tells me he definitely wasn't serious about auburn, not that I ever thought he was and I tried to tell people that.
But no...what's he going to say, I'm ditching auburn for a day, to go to Memphis madness, simply because i got some friends going and it should be a fun event?
I'm really not the least bit worried, he's not going to Memphis.
Perhaps. Until he proves otherwise, I still say Memphis will have to win in spite of their coach. He, not talent, is their biggest stumbling block.
See Jerry Green @ UT 10-15 years ago.
Possibly true. Hard to tell with 3 years of HC experience. He is buying himself some time to learn by recruiting top ten classes. At some point I am sure that won't be enough and production in March will become a must. Too early to tell yet IMO.
Another 1st round loss in the NCAA and I'd say that seat gets warm. This years Memphis team has top 10 talent, no excuses.
It will definitely get warm but he has bought himself some time with his recruiting. His 2013 class is spectacular so far (with or without Austin) though I am not sure he is done. Should be some very talented teams on the east and west sides of the state over the next 4 years.
Recruiting isn't the question...
Personally, I think he falls on his face in the BE, and next year will be a rude awakening, even with all the talent he will have.
