2015 Vols to open against UAB at LP Field in Nashville

Don't forget that Nashville is the capital of Tennessee....I just don't understand how the University of Tennessee is not in Nashville.... But I think it's better in Knoxville I like Rocky Top....The song And everything....

Thought Knoxville was the capital until 1817? UTK was established in 1794.

Look, I work with a guy here in West TN who has season tickets to the Titans. He practically begs everyone to buy up some seats. Fact is, no one gaf about them. On the other hand, if you hold seats to Neyland, that's something special and guys will fight for those.
Sorry, Titans are second rate and always will be.

Ok you're right then....But I say if the school wasn't Established in 1794 And maybe After 1817....University of Tennessee would have probabl have been in Nashville....I didn't know knoxville so was the capital for 40 years....I just learned something....

NFL is the most popular sport in America Go look it up....And that's with only 32 teams....And College has a hundred seventeen or so

Had the Titans been here half as long as the Vols, this might be a fair discussion.

Well when the news comes on and sports talk radio the first and talk about is NFL first

Yes this is a great point you're right exactly right....Because when I tell everybody that I'm a Titans fan that's my choice....but when When I Explain How I am a Tennessee Vols fan....it is being born here....And no choice....That's how I see it....What I'm trying to say that I am a vols fan by tradition

I love the UAB game being played in Nashville. Not from Tennessee, we already have OU coming to Neyland in 2015 and I'd much rather spend my free time in Nashville than Knoxville. Much easier city to fly to for those out of state.

Besides the officiating, the UT-UNC game was a blast. felt like a home game.

As was stated earlier, Vandy plays AT MTSU that day, and the Vandy faithful appear to not be happy about it. They claim to have a very "passionate" fan base, but post such as this...

I hope Coach Mason can change that (much the same as Franklin nixed the Ohio St game) ... We do not need to be playing Middle, it is absolutely a no-win situation.

It does nothing for exposure, and MTSU has a very small fan base (we will not sell-out in Nashville & I tend to think Vandy fans will not even travel to Murfreesboro... I won't).

That's going to be awesome going back and playing on LP field. The last time we was there was in 2000 when we played Candy if I remember right.
