Oh I know Duke offered, I was talking about Kentucky. I remember reading an interview he did where he said he had interest in them, but they hadn't offered at that point. And they still haven't.

I don’t see him going there, even if they do offer, which might be part of why they haven’t yet.

I’ll be interested to see how the staff continues to recruit 2019 class assuming Mann is a Vol come the end of the month. In theory with Gaines, Pember and Mann they would be full...so I’m curious to see how many guys they schedule to bring in on OV’s, continue to visit etc. Obviously you can push Pember signing until spring or 2020, will Gaines be willing to wait to sign until spring as well, or do we see movement there? Vols appear to be serious contenders for Walker, Jitoboh and Thorpe and to a slightly lesser level Gantt, Williams and James.

Will definitely be interesting. Dream scenario would be once Mann commits Walker wants on board too, which would mean we part ways with Gaines. I just hope it happens soon so Gaines has plenty of time to find a spot.

Maybe just the emotional beatdown Tennessee sports has put on me over the past 10 years, but I'm going to have a hard time swallowing a class of Pember, Jitoboh, Gaines, and Jones. And right now, that seems entirely possible.
