2020 Presidential Race

There will always be a gap. The gap is forever changing. Some people and some things cause the gap to widen. Some people and some things cause the gap to narrow.
Trump is the worst ever at widening the overall gap.

Also: what 10 people find to be gap narrowing, 4 others may find to be gap widening.
I’d bet there are more Republican senators than that who would find a Biden presidency less decisive.

They did between 2009 - 2017.
Yes, but that was a pre-Trump world, and we will be in a post-Trump world. I don't think they will be able to put the genie back in the bottle:

Cable news profits from its obsession with Trump. Viewers are the only victims.

That, coupled with the explosion of independant news on YouTube that wasn't where it is now in 2017:

Many Americans Get News on YouTube, Where News Organizations and Independent Producers Thrive Side by Side

The news organizations that can successfully pivot away from Trump the fastest will win. No way that is MSM.

You haven't pointed to a single crime having been committed by Joe Biden. You have defended Donald Trump for withholding aid to the Ukraine, so he could use it as leverage against President Zelensky's willingness to announce an investigation into him. So... basically, cry me a river. It's even more disingenuous than "Lock her up!". You know this will never be mentioned again after next Tuesday.

And you're yet to show that Trump committed a crime. You get all flustered and knotted up when you've tired, though. So, it's been entertaining.

But that's your problem. You're trying to defend an impeachment by claiming a crime was committed. I'm releasing verified, documented and damaging information and saying, "Why hasn't anyone been investigating this?"

Can you spot the difference?

By the way... I kind of miss that conversation where you had proven Trump's crimes with the claims that the US Constitution dictates the rights afforded in foreign countries, to people who broke foreign laws, on foreign soil. That the DoJ should bypass foreign authorities to investigate crimes committed in their jurisdiction. That the President of the United States doesn't have the right to implement foreign policy, but his cabinet does. And that it's illegal for the President of the United States to implement foreign policy that would be politically advantageous.

You ready to climb back up on that rocking pig, Matlock?

The analysis you post (do you guys ever read what you post?) says middle income Americans will lose an additional $260 dollars annually. I had no idea it would be that low. Though, it appears it is totally focused on top earners so I'll see if there is better data elsewhere.

If you are really worried about this, then you either make well over $400k a year--congrats if so!!!--and your b*tching falls on deaf ears.

Or, a few hundred dollars is consequential to you and you need to take a little more control of your career and life decisions.
If you like your doctor you can keep him.....
Do you not think the tax increases will not end up screwing.... you.... the consumer?..... the job seeker? If not..... you really has the dumb

The gap wasnt different under Obama, it wont be any different with Joe. The policies are driving the gap for anyone with sense. That gap isn't going to closing.

I'm all for narrowing the gap of division. I just recognize that step one is getting rid of Trump.
Step one would be admitting that you and others have overreacted for 4 years. Trump is not Hitler and really hasn’t done anything tangible to hurt you or others. Once you do that, then you can have reasonable discussions

This election is basically to determine if we want to continue the great experiment of America and the US Constitution

I think that's something we all agree on,,, for vastly different reasons.

For the REpublicans here, who would you prefer heading the ticket in 2024?
Haley?
Cotton?
Don Jr? Ivanka?
Pompeo?
Eric?

825, none of the marxist can name one thing that trump has done that's been totalitarian. He tried to build a wall to stop illegal aliens, he cut taxes and regulations. He did not cut any budgets or stopped any spending. Its just communist derange syndrome

It's not going to matter. If the electoral college is done, it will not matter who is nominated. If biden is elected, in 4 years one party rule will locked in.

Then we are at an impasse. I will always maintain that Trump is/was a horrendously despicable human who had a deep and long lasting negative impact on America.
