Per what I'm reading, we're confident that we're in bracket 2 playing Sunday. Is that correct?

Do we think Texas will be the 1:00 game and we will have the 6:00 game? Or, do the TV guys sometimes flip that among?

A potential Notre Dame vs Texas game might have a higher television rating than Vols vs Dallas Baptist....:)
We definitely are plying Sunday. Not sure about times but I would guess that we’d be the 1pm game

With UT depending on the long ball, we would normally be worried about how big the stadium is and how it plays even larger (fewer Home Runs) but the shots UT was hitting this weekend would have been out of any park in America including Yellow Stone.
I made the same comment to my son.

I had the same thought as ESPN may make the big matchup the afternoon game to protect their Sunday Night MLB games as well.
A big name Sunday afternoon matchup would have less competition for viewers.

Congrats to the Vols. It's funny. I was watching those two bozos on SEC NOW two weeks ago. They kept on and on about Florida being the tournament dark horse and everybody should watch out for them. Then two nights ago (Saturday after the game). They were saying that don't count LSU out yet. They will come back. I guess today they will be saying don't count Arkansas out yet. After all, they are batting a 1000 on their predictions.:p
The announcers were carrying this hole-filled bucket while LSU was getting actively reamed during the game. So dumb.

And the way Arizona is swinging the bat right now. They have, I think it was, 8 guys over .300 in their lineup. They said last night they’ve scored 13 or more runs 17x this year. I wasn’t sold on Zona coming in but they have a damn offense. Their field is huge yet they made it look small this weekend.

Yep, they can play ball.

ND has also earned my respect.

Thanks GB!!

Has anyone tried buying the outfield seats for $28, and then moving to better, empty seats mid-game? We've on a budget here, plus we got a group of five. Hard to find five together.

Some places, the ushers are sometimes checking tickets thru at least the 5th inning or so.

So we pulling for Dallas Baptist today ?
Obviously different leagues, but below table lists NCAA rankings for some key stats for each of the teams. The data was taken from NCAA College Baseball DI Stats | NCAA.com, which is current through June 13. Not sure how good DBU really is based upon their schedule and league. Interesting, UVA was only ranked higher than Tennessee in on-base percentage where UVA was 195 and TN was not in the top 286.

Overall record: TN (50-16-0), DBU (41-17-0), UVA (34-25-0). Note, TN did play 66 games vs 58 for DBU and 59 for UVA.

what's wrong with the actual seats you'd be purchasing that you're supposed to be sitting in?

I know UVA has the better pitching compared to DBU but that’s about it from this table. I think we’ve seen much better pitching than what they have tho. Part of me wants DBU but I think our pitching could shut down UVA’s offense.

Hey hey....you are the guy that was at the game where TTU played the Ducks in Eugene. Hello friend!

We will always have Tennessee Tech 7 Oregon 0. I have a photo of the scoreboard....somewhere.

For $28 each, the five of us can be in the outfield. But in the late innings, Tony definitely needs to hear my coaching advice.

Nah, it doesn't matter. It's pretty much a push between Virginia and DBU. I don't think either will make a difference in level of difficulty. Both good teams. Both teams we are better than. Just gotta perform.
I will say playing against the Kenny Powers guy on UVA's pitching staff would be funny. He's a nut
