Yes. This is a repeat of the Regional format. 4 games in each region (side). 1,4,5,8 on one side and 2,3,6,7 on the other. Now...some of those (Arky!) lost, so NC State technically holds their one seed.

We have to beat VA, then theoretically TX, then simply win one more game vs whoever immerges from the losers bracket.

It’s crucial to win your first two games. There is no advantage gained by winning your first game if you follow it with a loss in your second game. If anything, you could be worse off, because you could end up rematching the team you just beat and with about a five-hour rest disadvantage.

We snagged VIP, behind the plate, tickets at Truist Park in ATL for Sunday night Cardinals at Braves. I will be the guy in solid orange behind the plate. Gonna be funny watching this orange clad Vol Fan completely in tune to the Vols in Omaha. LOL! Any idea what radio station in the ATL would carry the game? I am sure they have TVs everywhere in that huge bar. Hoping this will be a great day for this dad and Vols Baseball.

And our pitching staff was #2 in the SEC in ERA playing in that stadium. Playing in a bigger perk will really help them.
