2022 U.S. Senate Races

It's a long game. Getting rid of the McConnels, Romneys, Grahams and Rubios (plus many more) is worth it.

Rubio isn't losing. This is like a scrub team going up a touchdown on a Top 5 team with 12 minutes left in the 1st quarter. Their fanbase celebrates, then only to be trounced by the end of the game.

It's just that doing what is best for your district may frequently mean compromising and doing what is best for the state and/or the nation. Some of the more shallow and self-centered citizens of the district may not be wise enough to see it that way.
Like when politicians allocate federal money in bills for local performing arts centers?

Democrat Raphael Warnock Spent over $61K in Campaign Funds to Pay Child Support

GettyImages-1238904698-640x480.jpg

Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) has spent over $61,000 in campaign funds to pay for child support.

The payments have not been without issue, however, as Warnock’s ex-wife Oulèye Ndoye has sued the Democrat to modify the custody arrangement with their children, as well as alleging Warnock had “failed and refused to reimburse” her for childcare expenses.

Ndoye alleges Warnock is in “willful contempt” of the childcare agreement and asks a judge to give her additional custody over the children as she moves to Massachusetts to complete a program at Harvard University.

Warnock also allegedly spends little time with his children when he has them, leaving them often with nannies, and many of the campaign expenditures used for childcare go to Bright Start Nanny Services.

ehhhhh I am not so sure about that. I think it is 4th and 20 and we are on our own 2 yard line with 1 minute to go. I am no Rubio fan, but losing him at this point would be devastating. The long game can be played once we get rid of Puddinhead and Cackles.... and George Soros.

'If John Fetterman had ever eaten a Vegetable in his life, then maybe he wouldn't have had a Major Stroke': Dr Oz's campaign's attack on Democratic rival gets very personal after he was mocked over video complaining the price of crudité

Pennsylvania Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz is hitting back at his Democratic rival John Fetterman over his health scare – amid Fetterman's series of mocking attacks over his infamous crudité shopping video.

'If John Fetterman had ever eaten a vegetable in his life, then maybe he wouldn't have had a major stroke and wouldn't be in the position of having to lie about it constantly,' said Rachel Tripp, Senior Communications Advisor to Oz.

The comment, to Business Insider, was just the latest bitter attack in the hotly contested race, where Fetterman has grabbed a polling edge amid a series of missteps by the Trump-backed Oz.

Fetterman had a stroke days before the Pennsylvania primary, then stayed off the campaign trail for three months.

Dude, you're basically writing love letters to Liz at this point. It's weird. You're like 2 Zima's away from recommending her face on Rushmore. Get it together.
She went against the party - the very thing you guys claim you are looking for.
Just admit all of you want people who toe the Trump line and solidify the two party system.

Liz and Tulsi are two sides of the same coin. Liz goes after Trump and gives interviews on CNN, and left-wing folks seem to forget she voted with Trump 93% of the time and is a hardcore social conservative. Tulsi goes after Biden and Democrats and hosts Tuckum's show one night, and right-wing folks forget she is a Fellow of the Bernie Sanders' Institute and supports Green New Deal, Medicare for All, etc.

Which is what makes it odd that so many vilify one and respect the other.

There are valid points of criticism to be made against the climate bill recently signed into law by President Biden, following a partisan vote in Congress. You just won't hear those valid points being made by Herschel Walker. He is brutally inarticulate. It's embarrassing to listen to him.

Georgia GOP Senate nominee Herschel Walker blasts the new climate law: 'Don't we have enough trees around here?'

You almost have to go out of your way to pick Senate candidates as bad as Georgia. Warnock is a crook, Loeffler was a higher level crook, Herschel is male Sybil, and I haven’t heard Ossoffs name since he was sworn in. State deserves better.

It's the halo effect at work.

She is physically attractive, and her stated foreign policy ideology is noninterventionist, which is in line with "America First," but beyond that she is a hard core liberal. Right-wingers like what they see so much at first glance, that they don't take the time to dig any deeper into who she actually is.

I think you're smoking in your spare time. Tulsi has been serving y'all up since she defeated K'ma'la in a debate take down. We know who Tulsi is and she has been consistent. However, she is for free speech and goes hard after big tech. Her looks have nothing to do with it. She's really not that fine but compared to the average dem mud duck politician she's a 10. No wonder most of them are out for vengeance against somebody.

PF Volnation going to bat for a leftist populist that agrees with AOC and Bernie on policy and is STILL, to this very day, a Fellow at the Bernie Sanders Institute. What a time to be alive.

Then you know that she is a progressive liberal.

"Tulsi has been serving y'all up since ..."

What the hell does that mean?
She isn't even a liberal. She is walking proof of horseshoe theory in action in the real world. She is a leftist populist that supports Medicare for All and the Green New Deal.

I'm not going to bat for Tulsi. I just like free thinkers who aren't bound by chains.

The obvious question is well why don't I like Cheney. It's because she is doing the work of the rino's including the Bush's. She could've said she disagreed with POTUS Trump position on election fraud and kept it moving. Instead she went all TDS, as a leader she bucked her party leader, went rogue and turned into a prosecutor convinced of the outcome and went searching for a storyline to prove it.

So judging by why you stated you don't like Cheney, you do not, in fact, like free thinkers that aren't bound by chains...

Liking a free thinker but having a standard doesn't have to be mutually exclusive. Cheney got to where she wasn't even discussing policy anymore.

Cheney would fall under your def of "free thinker". She bucked the party and it's leader, same as Tulsi has done. I don't think you value a free thinker at all. You said yourself you are pissed Cheney went against Trump and the GOP leadership. That doesn't sound like someone that values a "free thinker". Sounds like someone that is pissed she dared question Trump.

Let me help. He likes a free thinking Dem who bucks leadership but not a free thinking republican who bucks leadership.

That isn't true.

She was a vocal critic of the Democrat's climate plan and subsequent legislation over the course of the past year and a half. She has always opposed anything which even hints at limiting greenhouse gases. Her voting record reveals someone who is inflexible. There is a reason that Liz Cheney chaired the House Republican Conference, the third highest position in the House Republican leadership from 2019 to 2021, before coming out so forcefully against Donald Trump's conduct after 1/6.

Republicans new favorite study trashes Biden's climate plans – but who's behind it?

When it comes to matters of policy :

If it involved deregulation, she was all for it.

If it involved a ban or restriction, she was adamantly opposed to it.

... and there is no such thing as compromise with her.

^^^ This ^^^ made her a darling of the right, before 1/6. To pretend otherwise, is either ignorant or dishonest. The one and only reason she fell out of favor within the Republican Party was her high profile opposition to Donald Trump. That is why the GOP is now a cult of personality.

They have only one litmus test for party membership now = An unconditional devotion towards, and a passionate defense of anything having to do with Donald Trump.
