I think they let it slip that maybe the “highest bidder” so do schools pay the NCAA to host? I didn’t think this but when I heard him mention it was kinda confused lol obviously top 16 a different story

If they take some of the gate then yeah that would be the highest bidder. Time to up the ticket price to offset the seat count difference.

You always want the easiest path possible in post-season play. Penn is the worse team. But really we just want to see the Vols play in front of a crowd clad in big orange again.

The Tony/DVH rivalry that kind of started in 2021 but is mostly in the fans heads now and not between Tony and DVH.

Arkansas fans are also incredibly insecure about the fact that Tony is “one of their own” and that he was supposed to be the prodigal son once DVH retires, but that ship has sailed and he is all Vol so now their fans hate him/us.

DVH accused tony of poaching recruits, Tony just out-recruited DVH………afterwards the arky fan base was ripping tony for being an ******* and the Tennessee fan base accused arky fans of being asshats, it all streamed from this confrontation

My brother has also lived in NW Arkansas for years now, and there is a strange hatred those fans have for UT. Don’t know why and it’s been longer than Vitello being in Knoxville. Maybe Clint Stoerner?
