What's worse really are the many Kentucky fans defending this "great" deal.

Even worse, Before Mid-April, Kentucky had only two baseball fans who were no related to anyone on the team.

I've seen more Kentucky baseball games than 97% of the fans that will be there Friday afternoon.

The classic one-sport school had so little faith in their baseball program, the state championship tournament was scheduled.
To be fair again, the high school games would have drawn more ticketed fans than most of the UK games.

If Southern Miss wins out, it’s a tossup but lean towards Knoxville. If Penn or Samford win, it’s 100% Knoxville

Based on revenue, as well as a few other factors. teams submit proposals on projections of revenue, hotel availability, etc

I think they let it slip that maybe the “highest bidder” so do schools pay the NCAA to host? I didn’t think this but when I heard him mention it was kinda confused lol obviously top 16 a different story
