I have already said one of the Toughest games we will have this year will be in Baton Rouge. Kim has a Nalyssa Smith-type player and good guards around her. It will be a tough game even with all the Talent the Lady Vols have.If Kim is as good as you say she is she will win the SEC this year. Yes, that means LSU will be better than your beloved Lady Vols. let’s see how it plays out.
So overall were most likely giving each player 25K like SC then or we could "Secretly" be giving them 25K in an NIL world where that stuff is a factor now ?
Who's the NaLyssa Smith Type player ? Or shall i ask what type or similarities do you see ? Angel Reese cannot shoot a lick outside 5 ft . Nalyssa had a mid range game and somewhat of a consistent 3 pt shot her senior year. Unless Angel has done a total 360 i do not see the comparison. She also does not bang on the board like Smith did for BU. Reese will get a lot of boards because she's long but she does not pursue the ball the same as Nalyssa smith .I have already said one of the Toughest games we will have this year will be in Baton Rouge. So the original question is are we doing anything similar to SC's Entire team being guaranteed 25K at the least for being on the roster? That's the question not sure how everything else was thrown in , but im asking for the entire team specifically. Not just some or majority , ALL of them ?First off, the actual school can't give a player any $ directly. BUT the collective that has signed all the current LVs is splitting its funding, supposedly evenly among them. On top of that, each player is able to pursue deals on their own (with the assistance of a brand ambassador and compliance staff). We've had current players receive unspecified deals and in one case even a car. The one thing we haven't done is put together a package for an unsigned player. I have no idea if we have even tried doing this. But for 2024, Spyre, the BoostHer Club, and local businesses need to be working on "Nico deals" for an elite PG and an elite C.

This Angel Reese who did this last year in the big ten playing 25 minutes per game. I do think Rickea and/or Jillian should be able to hold her in check and if not we have Tamari behind them.Who's the NaLyssa Smith Type player ? Or shall i ask what type or similarities do you see ? Same thing with the girl Shade. She was here in knoxville, good visit. Then apparently on the flight home got a call from UConn and committed on the spot. College sports will never be the same...we were in the race for Velez and something happened between sept 13 and sept 20 that changed her whole perspective.
Smith and Reese are very different players but both stout players in the post. I personally think Reese is more 'assertive' in terms of rebounding on the glass than Smith was, who was an elite rebounder herself but her range isn't as good as Smith. Will be a great test for our team, I'm excited about that matchup.Who's the NaLyssa Smith Type player ? Or shall i ask what type or similarities do you see ? Was Holly there when NIL was in place
people forget this tooIt was just made legal last season or the year before. Well after Warlick got booted. Holly honestly was not even the key to those recruiting classes. Jolette Law was , when she jumped shipped to SC so did all the top players imo.
Alumni Hall is running the show at OMD now and has moved the store 10 minutes from campus and it is glorious! They’ve also added infant, toddler and youth sizes and are supporting all 9 Lady Vol programs. As great as it is that programs are killing it across the board, it actually hurts is because it’s always going to be about football first in this fan base. Terri Holder is running the collective exclusively now, but we can’t depend on only fan support, she’s going to have to hit up the big money donors and corporate donations and not just set up fall festivals and dinners or we’re going to get further behind in NILNIL is a game changer and will be moving forward...it will take more than just one or two NIL-opportunities.
And,,Yes we do have a store dedicated just to the lady vols,,,but it is half an hour's drive from campus. We need more local businesses to want to establish a NIL deal for the most recognizable WCCBB team/org.
