I really do think they were playing together all along not a coincidence that LSU and Tennessee were common teams they were playing at either one together and it's only an opinion
So if they wanted to play together , I wonder if our current roster of point guards was a deterrent for the pair?

Per a LSU insider, Rosario committed a week after her visit in early September but held off on the announcement close to signing day. She manipulated multiple schools and let many think they had a chance when in reality she already made her decision. Its not hard to see why particular coaches are upset. A lot of people put in so much work and resources only to be misled. If she were to be honest much sooner, maybe TN and others could have adjusted accordingly. But thats the negative about recruiting.

Yeah a little frustrating. With all the money involved now there are bound to be rules about this soon. You may not be required to make it public, but you should be required to notify the schools that were courting you. 8 weeks is a lot of time we could have worked on something else instead of trying to woo someone who had already signed elsewhere.

Hasn’t Nichols given a verbal to Kansas? Are we after any 2023s at this point?

Exactly when Velez committed that was it

Volball09 you got to be working on other situations anyway is my belief

I do think Velez saw that and I'm sure that coach from LSUser drove that point home to her and she had that talk with ADR about her situation because in reality ADR was in a good position with both teams for the post spot but Velez was iffy with us she would have to ball out and compete to get her minutes here

Good for her but she didn't manipulate anyone because as soon as her friend went to lsu that's when I started hearing that she's going there. Some Wnba players commented on her commitment was bad.

And yet again, an in-state player spurns Tennessee. The level of antipathy just doesn't make sense.

Aalyah grew up in a different country. She was living in New Jersey going to school with English as her second language ! Her and Velez played basketball together and moved to Webb school in Bell Buckle last year …. Neither one of these ladies are from Tennessee. Just Saying

Yup this wasn't a true TN homegrown recruit given she has been here for such a short time.

Hopefully we have another big showing in the portal this coming summer.

Ok, ok, I feel appropriately corrected now.

These folks in here crowning a coach and HS recruits that ain’t never played a game in college together lol.
Talking about Tennessee playing for 3rd after this season when just last season LSU should’ve loss to Jackson State in the first round of the NCAA tourney lol.
Tennessee is easily one of the top 4 teams in the country this season. Nobody is worrying about 1 or 2 years down the road on today.
The entire landscape of woman's college basketball changes year to year.
Nobody even know what’ll happen in 2023!

I don't think it runs very deep in the game of WBB anymore. 27 years is a long time in the life of an 18 year old. Many of the prospects' WNBA idols are married to other women. If a prospect has any homophobia in her, she had better hide it on todays' campuses. "Don't ask, don't tell" policy would cause marches and sit-ins on today's campuses. Okay, not BYU or Liberty students but students in quite a few other church related campuses will fire up about any hint of homophobia.
I agree.

Yes. That’s what I’ve heard. No wonder Coach Sam unfollowed her on Twitter. We don’t need players that “play games” and Kellie won’t have it.
