Fact...Kamala didn't lose because of Biden. Kamala lost because she hid the last 4 years doing nothing related to her job, and then could not express one single thing she would do differently as president. She is a hollow body. She had no platform other than to do the bidding of the machine.

No but I also don't want the federal government to assume more power and control over states.

The best action Trump could take that I would support 1000% is to get a law passed where a citizenship status question is included on the census and house seats and funds are allocated solely on the number of citizens living in a state. That would stop most of the sanctuary city/state crap.

The point which sailed over your head: Kamala wouldn’t have been the nominee if it weren’t for Biden announcing that he would seek reelection and crushing an open primary.

I get it. But I also realize the plan of Harris / Obama was to legalize all the illegals currently bused to swing states to ensure victories in those states forever if she had won

I didn't pay a lot of attention to Walz, but I liked that he seemed like he wasn’t somebody who came up wanting to get into politics. Otherwise, I don’t know why he was bad other than what Mojo pointed out: She needed PA.

No, it’s unfortunate that it’s not required by all states to have voter ID a requirement. If you don’t have free and fair elections then all the other laws don’t matter. Furthermore, if another state is allowed to unfairly vote and influence the election that interferes with the rights of my state to have representation so yeah, I think this one issue is a federal one, not a state one. Agree to disagree I guess

Ultimately, I dont think it would have mattered. But the path for the Ds was always going to have to include PA. They were never going to win without PA.

Kamala needed an attack dog who could clearly articulate her policy. Walz wasnt it.

It helped that his opponent was a blathering, wine-guzzling cat lady with absolutely no compelling platform of her own. It was a big mistake for the Dems not to have a primary and instead just appoint her as their candidate.

She would have had to have a compliant congress to do that and I don't think that would have happened even if she would have won.

You're not disagreeing with me you're arguing against the constitution. You're wanting to give the feds even more control over states. IDs is just a small part of the issue that everyone said they want smaller govt until they realize what it means

Trump is the one who categorized people so as to demonize them based on shared ethnicity with a smaller pool of bad actors. But it worked, so who am I to complain.

In end, Carville was once again correct: It's the economy, stupid.

We will see if Trump can deliver on his promise to reduce inflation, reduce taxes, and increase tariffs, all at the same time.
