I would be interested to see what the total costs to consumers would be if we compare one against the other now that they have this mandate. It may end up being a wash, but I know I had sticker shock the first (and only) time I thought about using Door Dash or Uber Eats (I can't remember which).I think it's more of a practical question especially in light of the $20/hr minimum wage thing. With Uber Eats and Doordash, there is a valid question on whether consumers will save money on internal drivers or potentially lose money by "contracting" it out to other services.
Well of course they are.Regardless, California is screwing itself by making the minimum wage that much.
