2024 Presidential Race

I believe that she said Government's role was to protect freedom for the people. To me that means no slavery. If you listen to her entire response instead of cut out portions, she gave a much broader response designed to bring out the roles of government today. Hopefully people will see thru the click bait antics of the press and crappy politics and get someone in office that is not a narcissist @##@$%^ or can remember what day of the week it is and not give the country away.
Why not just say the word "slavery"? Because the base wouldn't like that

I'm getting of the mind I'd rather kick a trailer hitch with my shins a dozen times a day than have another four years of Biden.
Me too! All this low unemployment, high wage growth for low and middle class working families, low gas prices, cratering inflation, and huge GDP growth is for the birds man.

I haven’t read all of these posts, but does anyone realize politicians do not govern countries, including the US. NGOs (non government organizations) such as Committee on Foreign Relations, World Economic Forum, Club of Rome, World Bank, WHO, and many other organization. They make policy and decide everything. Look up everyone in any president’s administration and “google” them. See what their back ground is in NGOs
Do you know the Federal Reserve has nothing to do with our Federal Govt, except loan it money for interest. See who owns the Fed.
Do you know that almost 1,000,000 children go missing each year and are sold into sex slave trafficking. See what politicians have ever spoken out or done anything about it.
Our politicians are selected - not elected. Both sides will carry out the same agendas.

Colorado SOS's Ballot Decision: A Compliance with Stay Order by State Supreme CourtThe decision by the Secretary of State (SOS) of Colorado to include Donald Trump on the ballot is a nuanced response to the legal landscape shaped by the Colorado Supreme Court's ruling.

The court had ruled that Trump was ineligible to hold the office of president under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment, leading to a ban on listing his name on the state's primary ballot. However, this decision by the Colorado Supreme Court was accompanied by a stay effective until January 4, 2024, or until a ruling is made by the U.S. Supreme Court on this matter. In light of this stay, the role of the Colorado SOS becomes critical but is guided by the legal boundaries set by the Colorado Supreme Court's decision.

The SOS is not overruling or disregarding the state Supreme Court’s judgment; instead, they are adhering to the stay that has been put in place. This means that, unless and until the U.S. Supreme Court intervenes with a different ruling, the SOS is legally obligated to place Trump's name on the 2024 ballot. This obligation stands until a directive or mandate is received from the U.S. Supreme Court that alters this course.

Therefore, the actions of the Colorado SOS should be viewed as compliance with the current legal framework, which remains subject to change based on future rulings from the U.S. Supreme Court. The situation underscores the complex interplay between state and federal judicial decisions and the role of election officials in navigating these legal waters. The SOS's decision is thus a reflection of the existing legal status quo and remains contingent on the potential future judicial developments at the federal level.

I see the groundwork is being laid to label Nikki Haley a racist.
I don't believe she is a racist or ignorant. She knows what the civil war was fought over. She is from South Carolina and she chose her words wisely so as not to upset her base. It's not her that is racist, it's a large portion of her constituents that she doesn't want to upset. But she needs their vote.
