The ultimate advantage the left has is Academy and Mainstream Media.

Whether people want to admit it or not, there is still a greater legitimacy in communications from CNN, ABC, the Universities, etc. versus talk radio or Fox News on the various issues.

Do you think it is unfair for me to expect the right kind of leader to be able to speak over or through those media gatekeepers?

I'm not saying all conservatives should vote for Trump. I am saying Biden is horrid, and is bottom of the barrel. If a person has policy issues with Trump don't vote for him. If you have personality issues then you may want to try to get over it. Four more years of Biden would send this country into a tail spin and we are already in it. Just look at the lawfare alone.

These tactics are the same reason democrats stick together to get bills passed while republicans do not even when they have the majority. They know how to lose.

My opinion:
If the Pride flag is flown at state buildings and that was decided by the representatives in the state, this is the correct call.
The thin blue line flag is NOT an official flag. If the people want it to be, they will have to pursure that with the state reps just as was done with Pride flag.

A good leader can somewhat manage it but keep in mind, most people only get what is fed to me.

I also think it is beyond just politics, these ideas have social implications.

Trump is going to leave a marked legacy in our nation in that his era saw people really start to challenge the media (social media's emergence also played a part and could have made the Trump "fake news" impact inevitable even if Trump didn't come along).

People across the board (even on the left now) constantly challenge legitimate sources and experts today which makes no one an expert. I don't see that going away anytime soon.

I understand where the disgusted are with it. But if the state is flying a flag as official for a time, then that flag is the right one to fly at half mast to honor someone.

There's a reason pretty much the whole campaign is just anti-Trump. There is basically no reason, outside of hyper-mega-uber-ultra-partisan Dems, to vote for Biden. Near as makes no difference there basically is no "Biden base" of voters. There's plenty of "anybody but Trump" out there and the Dems goal now is to foment and hold onto those votes as best they can.
