Ok I didn't see that, I'm relatively new here. I shared something about it last week and wanted to follow up on the concerns it caused from what I had read in response... It's communication. If someone else said it that's fine, I don't get anything out of it... Only being hurt that a player I really like is leaving.

Not traditional ones, not from what I've heard... Aidoo, Estrella and Cade are here, and playing small ball at the 4 we know we don't want to run with two traditional bigs at once... Awaka leaving may open the door further for 2025 guy Dewayne Brown to choose us over Mississippi State. Bc Aidoo will be gone by the time he gets here as well... Just speculating on that tho

I understand. Its been pretty well known that teams have been talking to him for a year. Pitino has been after him and he’s from around there, so there has been a lot of speculation about St John’s. Pitino “hates” the transfer portal but the dude is a tampering machine. Chris Ledlum didn’t just up and decide to leave last summer without knowing here he was going. Pitino never stopped recruiting him. It’s just the game these days, we gotta learn to play it.

Give me two young guys to fill the roster out.
Dailey would be a nice get with multiple years. Would like to add Aden as well.

What I can say is that 6'7" and 200lbs translates to every conference, as does being a good shooter. Will he see the same sort of % in the SEC or ACC, probably not...but he'll still knock down plenty of open looks either way.

The bold is the issue, you've already made your mind up on the kid. But I promise you, UNC, Duke, Tennessee and all the other top tier schools pursuing Tyson are far better basketball evaluators than you or me.

I'm down for anyone that'll help the Vols..my only hang up with all small school players is how they do against P5 competition...DK the year prior played well, Gainey did as well..Ledlum shot 33% against Kansas the year before avg 18.8 at Harvard and 9.5 at st.johns which played a weaker schedule then UT so ot seems to reason if a player from Belmont struggles against P5 competition with Belmont , odd are they will still struggle....coaches miss on player evaluations all the time...I'm hope Tyson is one of those and does so for UT.

Be a fan, share thoughts and opinions but coming here to repeat what Basilio says isn't new or interesting. Lots of posters do it. We also have gone through quite a few "insiders" too just looking for attention, don't be that guy either.

Let's just be real.............good players are no longer going to ride the pine for two or three years before they get realistic playing time. I don't blame them a bit.
