Why? He may not be a star, he he was a piece to the puzzle this past season and has a chance to improve over the offseason. No guarantee we’d upgrade over him if he left.

I spoke to a buddy of mine who's a UT fan and I told him you cant blame the boys for taking the money and he agreed.

My boys a basketball player who'll more than likely max out at the high school level and I'd tell him to take the money and run.

I know when I was at the top of my game working produce at Food City in my teen years, I tried to leverage them for a bag by telling them Food Lion was interested and I’d take the money if they didn’t match it. Am I crazy to prefer Awaka back over Aidoo (in the hypothetical world where I could pick 1)? It may just be recency bias, but I feel like Awaka helps the team more than Aidoo, when given the same minutes.
