I mean they still count for 2 points. It's never going to be visually pleasing with Angel; hell it's not even logically understandable. But she by God gets it done.
Disregarding Angel's numbers is like disregarding CC's attendance numbers. It may not be our cup of tea, but the numbers don't lie in either case.Right, which is fine. But I’m very tired of people throwing her name around like she’s good.
She is only marginally relevant due to her loose association with Clark.
She is a double-double machine (and averaging 10 rebounds a game) and generally a good defender (unless she gets too emotionally ramped up and makes a dumb play). Going to the opposite extreme end- "she is not any good"--is no less of a BS take than over hyping her.Right, which is fine. But I’m very tired of people throwing her name around like she’s good.

Uncalled double dribbles still give me gas pains.Reese set a new WNBA record by becoming the first rookie in history to record seven consecutive double-doubles. She set the record with a monster game against the wings, 16 points and 18 rebounds.
Her rookie stat line puts her in elite company and there is now a serious race for rookie of the year with Clark.
However, social media is all over a twitter clip of Reese's steal and breakaway lay-up against the Wings. She appeared to double dribble three, maybe four times en route to the basket. Not trying to take away from her game but that was an extreme "no call." The situation is magnified by Angel's comment that some people (aka Caitlin Clark) get a special whistle and here she is getting the full LeBron treatment!
Special Whistle: Angel Reese Gets Away With An EGREGIOUS Double Quadruple Dribble
I've written about Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese a ton on this blog, and consistently said that I think the hate is a bit overdrawn and people are turning it into something it isn't. That's just how T...www.barstoolsports.com
I am with you on the ref thing,,,it's not as if it isn't happening all the time. But for it to become an issue, the right people have to make it a focus,,,and more often than not, the benefactors of bad calls are elite players and elite orgs,,,so why would they complainWhy has sports officiating across the board got so bad? Is it just that we see it more with replay and twitter clips? Why can't leagues improve their refs? Games have gotten so fast and athletes are so big and strong maybe it can't be adequately officiated any more.
I missed the anthem, sounds like that's a blessing. And that was the high point of the night for Atlanta.

Minus the everything else factor, I'll bet you'd celebrate Angel as a scrappy, never quit, blue collar American hero who overcomes obvious limitations. Does the thing her way and never, ever quits. The epitomy of doing more with less just by sheer relentlessness and determination. Hell I'm about to shed a tear and buy a tee shirt.Don’t be ridiculous.
Reese is shooting under 40% from around the rim. Drops to below 20% from beyond 4’. That is disgustingly bad. You can’t just hammer the ball off the glass and rebound your own misses then run your mouth like you did something lol. She sets the sport back.
That’s why Twitter is lighting her up. It’s flipping embarrassing. She’s a professional athlete and double dribble twice (at least) in one possession with no call.
On top of her “special whistle” (which was about Boston and not Clark imo) comment the other day she was bound to get flamed. She walks right into it everytime and then cries. It’s really immature.
I actually don't see a reason for the national anthem at a sporting event. Maybe special occasion like Veteran's Day or something, but I don't understand the relevance otherwise.Agree with the last statement too,,,it is the only time the entire arena(s) are on the same page and in the same mindset. Hopefully that doesn't go the way of "In God We Trust"
