No i’m not, like I’ve said in the past I can’t root for a team that have players from college teams that I despise, that’s the reason I can’t like the Spark or Sky or the Aces when Xandace played for them, so I just root for the player.

My GAWD!!!! Just found a story on her. According to Bleacher Report, she is only 7'3, 17 years old and does have WNBA aspirations.

May not want to see the latest ESPN athlete ranking. Unfortunately, Ohtani has been surpassed.

Based on ESPN personalization data, the WNBA has seen the largest YoY growth (+47%) among sports with 1M+ favorites

Caitlin Clark led all players with +373% MoM growth to become the 4th most-favorited active athlete, only behind LeBron James, Tiger Woods and Steph Curry

Funny thing. Even when our beloved Candace Parker played for the Sky I couldn't bring myself to be a fan. I can't pinpoint exactly why I've never been able to muster fan feelings for them, but I can't. Same for Dallas. I feel nothing. Zero. There's been someone/something on/about every other team I've kinda liked at one point or another, but not those two.

Indifference is sooooo much worse than hate.

No matter how much the media pushes Clark she will never been as worldwide known as the great Ohtani. Ohtani is more popular and the media and sports networks don’t talk about him everyday or promote all of his games.

So instead of empowering a young lady in that spot by the biggest sports media brand. You feel it’s promoting and not hard work, dedication and being a sensational college player translating that over to the professional game. Those ahead of her are Tiger Woods, Lebron and Curry. I’m sure those are not deserved too. Got it, makes sense.

The athletes u names are all Champions in their sport, like I said Champions should be respected and promoted because they win at the highest level.

She is also behind them, not ahead. Too many people in the hall of fame that never won championships. Like I said, I don’t make the rules. You may want to direct your complaints to ESPN. Good news for Caitlyn, Ohtani hasn’t won a WS so there’s that.

She’s a rookie so we won’t count that, it let’s go to the last 8 year, 4 years in high school and 4 years in college, how many Championships has she won? The answer is Zero, that should tell you something.

I just watch basketball, especially the Champions. Something to be said about a player that gets it done on the biggest stage and at every level they’ve been at. You can make up your list of the biggest losers in sports.

Yes, those players have great teams. I’m not the one upset and trying to “promote 6-9” on par with the Clark effect of WNBA. I’m not even promoting CC, I’m just calling it as it is. Again, the people have spoken your rules need not apply. But be well with your Champions viewing, believe those are called bandwagon fans. Irony is posting on a LV forum. Now, I have to see where DK gets drafted and time how much press he gets for future reference of disrespect.

Great players carry their teams to the promise land, they don’t always have the best team. Just like a player with 3 WNBA prospects on her roster couldn’t win a Championship. It’s actuall the “Media Effect” never Ben a bandwagon, I’ve always supported Reese and u can go find my posts before they even won the Championship. This is a WNBA topic and I’ll post as such.

Magic Johnson is the new Vol Daddy of the west coast. Speaking of Daddies, the Lakers are expected to draft Brony James in the late rounds today, fulfilling LeBron's dream of playing w his son. Along w new coach JJ Reddick, DK is joining lots of drama around the Lakers.

DK fell quite a bit in the draft to #17, oddly supposedly bc at 23 he's "too old" for a rookie. Rickea is also 23 but apparently that's an ok WNBA rookie age.
