Is Evans supposed to be a good shooter? Feel like I read that, but may be confusing him with another. He’s obviously a defender and a culture fit.

“Denis reportedly wants $600,000…even if we can’t afford that, he’s not even worth 1/4 of that! That’s why Hubert backed off..I agree NIL is a problem right now, but a mid 4 star that might transfer after a year doesn’t deserve that!”

Trilly just said UNC upped their offer yesterday and they’re back in it with Wake now. OSU running 3rd but has the most money to spend if they want to. No mention of us anymore

I think regardless of who you get at PG in this class you’d look for an upperclassmen from the portal that can handle PG duties. Unless you’re landing a Top 10 player it’s really hard to count on freshman contributing in a major way on a good team.

This isn’t specific to this instance or UNC, just a general thought, but if you’re going to pick a school based on an extra $50-$200ketc and you have serious aspirations about being a NBA player then you have bad advice and a bad circle around you. Go to where you truly want to be and are wanted, where you’ll be developed and where you think you will fit, yes you deserve market value and should get it, but don’t blindly just pick the highest bidder. What you very well can gain for that 1 year you almost certainly give up by picking what is likely not the best situation for you long term.
