I guess I don't know enough about the UT-reject team to know how it works.

LOL @ this...You gotta be kidding, just because a few UT players didn't like what they saw and wanted another opportunity at an up and coming FCS school they are now rejects...I think it was their choice to leave Tennessee and that doesn't quite constitute being rejected.

sorry going to an fcs school absolutely means you are a reject. if you were worth anything clearly you'd transfer to a div 1a school so you have a prayer of getting drafted.

I for sure didn't know they had expanded it to 20 teams. I didn't see how an 8-3 team would get an at large bid in 16 teams. With 20 it's possible.

How would a 8-3 with losses to the top 2 teams in the country by a combined 5 points, and a loss to the top team in Fbs possibly NOT get a bid?

What does being drafted have to do with anything? You do realize that 90% of players from the BCS conferences are not going to be drafted right?

so in your opinion solid college players who could be starting (coleman) or second string (creer) in the sec have no belief they could make an nfl roster?

Actually Chattanooga has had 57 NFL Draft picks and most recently a player by the name of Terrell Owens. Love him or hate him he is a pretty popular FCS draftee.

Im pretty sure they think they have a better shot at getting to the NFL from chattanooga or la tech, then from tennessee as a 3rd string QB or a 5th string RB.

how many of said draft picks are from 20 years ago? and wow you have one nfl player. congrats.

Showing how sad of a life I have, I actually spent time searching and found this....

I-AA Play-off History

They've updated how teams are selected. At one point, I thought it was the X highest ranked teams in the polls.

Why would they be 3rd string when they have outplayed the guys ahead of them is the question? But its also the case.

Seriously. Is that the first spring practice you've followed? Every year there's a Corey Larkin or Jabari Davis or Roy Olasimbo. Getting big numbers against the backups doesn't mean you've done anything special.

and your evidence they outplayed the guys ahead of them is what? you didn't see them practice.

I have evidence from watching the games on lennon creer. I have first hand many first hand accounts that B.J. coleman was the best QB in practice all spring. I have stats from several scrimmages that indicate B.J. Coleman was the best all spring, and I have watched the srping game in which BJ coleman was easily the best QB. See this isnt california football, there are actually alot of people around here that are interested in whats going on at tennessee.

But that wasnt the case. Just as lennon creer was some mop up 4th qtr guy, while montario hardesty was the starter. These are false statements.

and the coaches disregarded all this because they had some sort of personal vendetta against coleman and creer? they don't want to win more than they want to play favorites? do you realize how stupid this sounds?

You don't have crap or you'd have played that card a long time ago. Phil didn't even trust Coleman enough to let him do anything more than scramble and hand the ball off. Yet when Kiffin comes to the same conclusion, clearly he's screwing your boy over. Give me a break.

If you are speaking of the 09 spring game, BJ was splitting time w/Stepehens against the 2nd team.
