Guys who could get bumps on Rivals AND why.
Dormady - Didnt play his JR year. Reported that he could have one of the strongest arms in the class. Also reported that he could be a top 100 player if he wasnt injured. 247 has him a 4*, so he will likely end up a high 3*/4* on Rivals. Received a low rating because of lack of evaluation.
Rocky Reid - Lots of offers came in after his season. Sometimes they bump players because of offer lists. He played against 4* Derrell Scott in the state playoff game. Kids JR year numbers were ridiculous. Might get bumped up in ratings but could still end up a 3*. With the right season he could be a 4*
Preston Williams - Could be the #1 Receiver in the class. Rivals is just lacking. He is #1 receiver on 247 and Scout. Could get a 5th star.
Quay Picou - Ranked 23rd DT on Rivals. 5.7 3*. Ranked a 4* on 247. Possible with a good season.
Austin Smith - I think they just started evaluating him so they through the default rank on him. Has been called the steal of the class and lots of good reviews on him. Chavis @ LSU wanted him.
Stephen Griffin - Already a 5.7 3*. Has been reported that he had some good camps.
Kyle Oliver - Ranked a 5.7 3* and hasnt even played the position yet.
Theres 6 potentials. Will they all get bumped? I doubt it.
You're pretty good. I like that you bring it, just like this legacy clAss we got coming in here. I think likely 3, 4 at most of these guys will get bumps.
It's a freakin thread, an opinion, get off your high horse it's the off season and I was nit picking. Get over it. I'm not used to seeing 3s with jones after he mopped the floor last year.
When you consider that different sites have different ratings 3-4 bumps per site could be more than 3-4 players total. Someone on rivals would call Dormady a bump because rivals has him at 2* but someone at 247 would say we already have him a 4 star top 5 QB. 247 bumping butcher to a 4 would be a bump but rivals and ESPN already have him a 4. Hubbs is using rivals.
The whole argument is stupid and annoying. High 3 stars are very good players too. We have #7 class in nation anyone whining is a little baby

I can't be the only one startled by all the three star takes at this point. What's goin on?
