Omar on Manchin, Sinema: We ‘Didn’t Envision Having Republicans as Part of Our Party’ – They’re Using GOP Talking Points on Reconciliation

While speaking to reporters on Monday, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) said that she is saddened that Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) are using “Republican talking points” on the reconciliation bill and Democrats “obviously didn’t envision having Republicans as part of our party.”

Omar, Tlaib, AOC, and are several others, mainly from California and New York, are cancerous to the democrat party in the House.

House votes 219-212 to SUSPEND the debt ceiling through December 2022 despite two Democrats voting NO - but Senate Republicans are expected to tank it

  • The vote was 219-212, mainly along party lines - however one Republican voted in favor of bumping up the limit - Rep. Adam Kinzinger
The House passed a bill Wednesday night that would suspend the debt limit until after next year's midterms.

The vote was 219-212, mainly along party lines. However one Republican voted in favor of bumping up the limit - Rep. Adam Kinzinger - while two Democrats voted alongside House Republicans.

The debt ceiling - how much the U.S. government is allowed to borrow - would be lifted until December 16, 2022.

The bill is now headed to the Senate where it will face almost certain death from Republicans.

From a Mormon living in a gas station to the senator with Biden's $3.5T budget in her hands: How Krysten Sinema came out as bisexual and went from being 'too liberal to be a Democrat' to the moderate holding ALL the cards

  • Democratic anger is growing with Krysten Sinema, blaming her as the sole reason for holding up Joe Biden's $3.5 trillion social agenda
Democratic anger is growing with Krysten Sinema, blaming her as the sole reason for holding up Joe Biden's $3.5 trillion social agenda as the party demands to know what the Arizona Democratic senator wants in exchange for her support.

'The president keeps begging her, tell us what you want. Put a proposal forward,' progressive Rep. Ro Khanna told CNN, adding that neither moderates nor liberals can name her demands.

All eyes are turning to the 45-year-old senator, known for wearing candy-colored wigs during the COVID pandemic because she couldn't get her hair dyed, competing in Ironmans and touting her personal story – growing up in a gas station with conservative Mormon parents before earning her PhD and become the first openly bisexual woman to be elected to the Senate.

She rarely attends the weekly Senate Democratic luncheon, was the only Democrat to skip Vice President Kamala Harris' dinner for female senators, and invites Republicans to go for a run with her around the Capitol.

Biden is courting Sinema heavily, hosting her for three meetings at the White House on Tuesday and sending his legislative team to a meeting in her Capitol Hill office on Wednesday.

'She's smart as hell and she has a plan,' Adam Kinsey, a Democratic political consultant in Arizona, told DailyMail.com.

At this point, Kinzinger may as well join the leftist commie party.

This tax and spend sh*t is infuriating.

Never clean bills on things that are important, always loaded with pork. The inability by this country to get spending under control is the biggest risk to this country's future, hands down.
Agreed, for a country with a significant portion, if not majority, of people in fear of China and Russia leveraging against us we don't hold our elected officials accountable or vote them out for spending like drunken trust fund kids.

Dude, the debt ceiling gets busted every year, what rock have you been under? The problem is what comes next.

The debt ceiling would be a slam dunk if'n it weren't for the Dems looking to cram a massive spending bill right after it.

The spending bill is an outrageous waste of tax dollars that will do NOTHING but sink us further into debt. These BS promises of it being paid for by taxing the wealthy is a pick up line to make the far left feel good about it. Every single time they tell us a spending bill will be paid for by doing "X", it never f**ing works out that way. It's the reason this country has added what ~$22B to the deficit in the last 20 years?

I hope the R's stand firm and allow the country to default, getting this country back to being fiscally sound is going to be painful for everyone.

Sadly, we all know that Mitch "the human turtle" McConnell is just posturing and will roll over and all this will go through... Sad.
All everyone is looking for is political cover and something they can take "back home" as a trophy to get reelected.
