Sir inflation is transitory, it will be very temporary and prices will soon be lower than they were under Obama. It's a pretty stupid take to think that the already stressed construction material market will be affected by the government spending trillions of dollars.

Yachts and mansions cost more as well. And investment portfolios lose value. I don’t know if it is all that regressive unless inflation only hits consumer spending on staples and discretionary purchases.

Donald Trump is lashing out against Joe Biden's latest infrastructure victory after Senate Democrats passed the framework for a $3.5 trillion bill in a 50-49 party line vote around 4 a.m. Wednesday morning.

'Good morning, America! While you were all sleeping, the Radical Democrats advanced a plan that will be known as the $3.5 trillion Communist Plan to Destroy America,' the ex-president wrote in a late Wednesday morning statement.

He called the legislation an attack against 'our Nation, on our communities, and on the American Dream.'

Trump took aim at specific portions of the bill that would grant amnesty for millions of migrant workers and allocates $67 billion toward environmental initiatives.

'It destroys our Borders and the rule of law by granting dangerous amnesty that will flood America’s beautiful cities. It will overwhelm our schools, and make our Nation less safe,' the former president wrote.

'And don’t forget the crazy Green New Deal. America, you are being robbed in the dark of night. It’s time to wake up!'

Yea, bring back the cash for clunkers, and metal will fall back down to 2 dollars a hundred, while people that scraps right now is enjoying 10 to 11 dollars a hundred.

"Early this morning, I voted ‘YES’ on a procedural vote to move forward on the budget reconciliation process because I believe it is important to discuss the fiscal policy future of this country," Manchin, D-W.Va., said in a statement. "However, I have serious concerns about the grave consequences facing West Virginians and every American family if Congress decides to spend another $3.5 trillion."

Manchin is not the first moderate Democrat to express qualms about the massive spending plan that is being championed by Senate Budget Committee Chairman Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., said last month, "while I will support beginning this process [of budget reconciliation], I do not support a bill that costs $3.5 trillion."

It would be stressed if the infrastructure bill included anything related to infrastructure or some type of construction….shovel ready….
